Nice measuring tape... tape. I use it along the edge of my work table, and I didn't expect it to last long since it didn't seem very sticky, but it's stayed in place beautifully for over 4 months with no sign of tearing or peeling, and I've already got plenty of other ideas in mind for using the rest of the roll. I do wish it had metric markings as well, so I might try a different brand next time I need to order just for that reason, but it's doing a nice job so far. I like that the surface is kind of papery as well so I can write on it with permanent marker if I want to mark specific lengths for commonly made products or something, too.

Good idea, poor stickiness

It's a good idea, but this this tape isn't very tacky and had a hard time sticking to rough 2x4 so that's not a good sign. Perhaps other models will work better. I'm not sure it's worthwhile given that one of its main advantages is nullified with the very weak tape.

This measuring tape tape is wonderful! I'm just sorry I've never found it before! I create jewelry and I put a strip of this measuring tape on the top of plastic organizer and I use it to measure my chain and beading wire quickly and right where I need it. Super stuff!

great for working alone with nobody to hold an end of a twisty metal tape measure. It's not marked in metric, which doesn't matter to me. Can use pieces again for a while, but eventually looses its stickyness.

Problem-solving tape

I bought a new Fiskars paper cutter and can't read the measuring marks. They small and molded into the orange plastic rather than printed on. I think this tape will solve the problem! Too bad about the added expense.
