Excellent solution for garden beds

We ordered these blocks but found that some didn't fit well. We contacted the company and were informed that they had received a batch that were out of tolerance and they immediately sent replacements. Customer support was excellent and a company founder even took a personal interest in what we were doing and asked for a picture.

My wife has been using various methods of supporting the earth for her the beds in her garden but always been found them to be unsatisfactory with time. These blocks are ideal for that purpose and leave no doubt we should never expect any problems in the future.

A reviewer mentioned that they fell apart but he failed to attach them. The blocks are very quickly assembled with #10 three inch screws commonly referred to as drywall screws. (Only the bottom threads of the screws have to be threaded and if one uses an electric screwdriver it takes only a few seconds per screw.)

You want to make note of the size of the blocks. One reason that they're so good for gardens is that they don't take up a lot of room. However, that also means that large walls will need a fair number of blocks. But this is by far the best way to go.

We ordered this kit last summer and it worked very well. Went together easily and gave us a raised bed in no time. BUT, I'm trying to put together the kit for this years garden and it does not snap together! The pieces must have warped or changed shape slightly over the winter (I left the pieces outdoors underneath our deck over the winter.)

The set is now useless to me and I'm off to the big box store to buy one of their wood-and-corner kits for a fraction of the cost of this kit. Very disappointed.

What a great idea! The TogetherFarm blocks are made from recycled materials and will last virtually forever- that makes me feel good about the environment. My order shipped quickly and I had my raised garden bed put together in a few minutes; no hardware or tools needed. If at some time I want to move or reconfigure the blocks it can be done easily. My vegetable garden is thriving and I love the way it looks. I have future plans for more raised planting beds- I'll definitely be ordering more TogetherFarm blocks!

crazy overpriced for what arrived. thoroughly disappointed and with $27.00 shipping I was so angry and felt taken by this seller. this looks much bigger in the ad...makes a box about 4" deep and 1ft ×5ft. tough to build as many of the bricks were warped. DO NOT BUY!

It's a bit early for me to be able to rate the blocks' performance. What I do like about the blocks is the easy way they fit together to create different shapes -- shades of my hours as a child, playing with Lego blocks. I'm using them on a trial basis to replace one of my old raised beds that was deteriorating.

The one thing I was disappointed in was how many kits it took to build the size of raised bed I wanted. It would be nice if the blocks could be made in a bigger size.

Not what I expected

This product doesn't snap together very easily and the pieces are very small. I stacked them 3 high and barely filled with dirt and still my mini-dachshunds have been able to chew the leaves off my plants. I've been planting tomatoes and peppers in large flower pots for a couple years now and never had a problem of any kind. Not to mention, I saw a picture of a guy starting his plants from seed (as I do) by flipping over a block. I gave it a try and discovered it doesn't work. It is nearly impossible to remove the starts without making a mess and all the soil falling off the roots of the starts. And, I miss the ability to relocate my plants if needed and pull them aside so I can mow and then put them back. With no bottom, this cannot be moved. This did not fit my need.
