Product Description

Googly Eyes is the hilarious family game that challenges your vision and leaves you googling for more! Put on the zany, vision-altering google eye glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you're drawing. Is that an igloo or a turtle? A birthday cake or a fortress? Players take turns drawing and guessing, so everyone gets a chance to wear the glasses. The glasses come with three sets of lenses that range from mild changes to mind-blowing fun, so no one can see (or draw) straight--your vision will bounce off of the lenses. Googly Eyes is a fun twist on classic drawing games that lets players of different ages and skill levels compete on equal terms, since the goggles make it fun and challenging for everyone. Unlike any other drawing game you don't need to be an artist, and the rules are simple. Just roll the die and move--the space you land on tells you which color lenses to use (easy, medium, or hard). Then pick a card, set the timer, and start drawing. If your team guesses correctly you get to roll and move again; if not, then you stay where you are on the board. The first team to reach Finish wins. For ages 7 and up. 4-16 players.

Goofy Googly Game

This is a goofy game, so if you've got kids - they should like playing it. I do recommend you play this with kids that have a minimal ability of high motor functions (so they can draw). Why? Because drawing is a large part of this game! You wear the googly eyes while drawing as it greatly alters what is actually being put to paper. Then, your team must guess what the hell your masterpiece is supposed to be. Rated 7 and Up. I agree with this for the most part. Otherwise, you may be dealing with some tears as younger children will be upset that their team can't figure out what they drew.

Glasses aren't that challenging

My husband hates playing pictionary with me because I'm artistically inclined and he's not. I figured this would be a great way to level the playing field--especially with three different levels of difficulty. While even the hardest lenses do distort, I found that when my eyes hit the lenses in just the right spot, my vision isn't even restricted. There's a good half inch around the lens of normal vision, thus not making it very challenging.

If you're a fan of pictionary, this might be a fun twist, but don't expect a vastly different experience.

This game is a lot of fun. At first I was concerned that you constantly had to change the lenses during game play; however, it isn't hard and the lenses seem to be made of decent quality plastic so I don't think the constant taking in/out will present a problem. This is a really fun game. As an adult, the changing of the vision gave me a bit of a headache but luckily, you're only wearing them for max 45 seconds at a time. All in all, I'm incredibly pleased with this purchase and my kids love the game.

Fun game to play with the kids

Fun game to play with the kids. My kids loved it and didn't care who won bc they were too busy laughing at the ridiculous drawings. Good for a range of ages, my son is 12 and my daughter is 9. Both had a blast playing this. Just the look of the glasses on their faces was enough to get a laugh.

From how silly you look wearing the glasses to how fun it is to draw with them on

My family loves this game. We received it for Christmas a year or so ago and recently bought a copy to give as a gift. I've played with kids aged 4 to 13, with adults and without, whatever the combination this game is really a hit for everyone. From how silly you look wearing the glasses to how fun it is to draw with them on, it really is a good addition to the game cupboard. Definitely recommend.

Fun Family Game

We have played this a couple times and it's super fun. You can see through the sides of the lenses when you have the glasses on, which makes it easy to do the "Pictionary" part of the game, but to make it more challenging, we try to see directly through the center of the lenses - which makes its extremely difficult and way more fun and funny. We had a little trouble knowing when to roll the die at the beginning, but youtubed the game for answers. I don't remember what the age range is on this, but my 6 year old has just as much fun playing this as my 10 year old - we do give the 6 year old extra time though. Really fun family game.

This has got to be the BEST Family Game Ever
by Momma T (5 out of 5 stars)

This has got to be the BEST Family Game Ever! Fun for all ages for sure. I bought this for my 9 yr olds birthday. She had seen it on tv and so I researched it and This one was much cheaper than other stores. It came very quickly and we were able to play for her birthday. It did arrive damaged but with a little glue we were able to enjoy it. The game comes with 3 different levels of goggle lens that distort your vision. One time I couldnt even find the paper once my hard googles were on. The lens are very easy to change out. We played without the timer because to me its just impossible to draw anything with these goggles on in 15 seconds. But it is definitely worth the price and the family time you will have is priceless. I recommend this game to EVERYONE!!!!!!

Glasses are no fun
by Alexis A (1 out of 5 stars)
December 26, 2018

The glasses do not change your vision enough to make the drawing difficult. The lenses are not easy to small into place. The cards are way too easy, giving you things to draw that are too easy to recognize such as Mickey Mouse, ect. The time is loud and annoying and it doesn't have an on/off switch for when you guess the right answer right away. My kid opened this for Xmas after my 30 day refund period had ended, otherwise I would get my money back. All of the items in this game are cheaply made and not good quality.

LOTS OF FUN!!!

This is a great game to play with the family, especially if you have younger children. Some of the likes is that it is tons of fun and the glasses are well made. The dislikes is that I wish it came with at least 2 pairs of glasses and you can see from the edge of the lens since it doesn't fully distort your sight as I thought it should. The notepad to draw on is small so you make want to use your own w/ an art easel like you would playing Pictionary. The timer is a little difficult to turn the knob and its loud. Otherwise great concept and FUN!!!!!
