I was so glad to find these paper wax coated harmless cups! I hate throwing away trash that I know will sit in a landfill forever, especially things which can and will harm wildlife such as plastic straws and plastic 6 pack holders. For some unknown odd reason it is very difficult these days to find disposable drinking cups in stores which are less harmful for the environment or for animals anymore. Most cups in stores are either plastic or Styrofoam....eeek!! We are in the middle of a kitchen reno and I needed something disposable for my family to use during the reno. I can't say I'm 'nostalgic' or anything for the 'art/design' on the cups , although many others who reviewed these seem to feel very nostalgic about them. Oddly enough I think the pattern is kind of ugly myself, but I do like the colors. I have no fond memories of my past childhood associated with these particular cups. But I am very grateful for the cups no matter what kind of art they have on them. I can use them without feeling any guilt. They hold just enough liquid for holding a drink to go with a meal. If we need more liquid we just refill them again. I will be buying more of these 'Jazzy' ugly wonderful cups.

The cups are pretty small and the Wax coating, while nostalgic, is kind of gross after a while. Makes me miss the genuine cups.
