The receiver of this gift and myself both absolutely loved the design and the packaging of this product. I am giving only 4 stars because I feel that this is a bit too pricey. Truthfully, I bought this item after a bit of drinking and while beautiful I think a $20 price range is more fair.

I was totally nervous to purchase this because of the reviews saying how it didn't burn correctly etc. I purchased this as a gift for my mom. She LOVED it. She lit it that night and has sent me progression photos. It worked perfectly. I would definitely buy again.

I read the reviews about how flimsy the skeleton inside is so I don't plan on exposing it. I also read about how terrible it smells when you burn it and from smelling the candle as is, I am sure it will not be pleasant. Upon arrival one of the ears was broken off so I had to try and melt it back on so it's whole now, just a little misshapen. So, in all if you want to buy a geometric cat candle for looks this is perfect (as long as you don't mind if it may arrive to you a little broken). You would think the amount you pay for this it would at least be pleasant smelling with a pleasant scent like sandalwood or something.

Really fun to watch it melt. I kept it on a paper plate so the wax wouldn't stick on any surfaces, and was left with a big, satisfying pile of wax. The back is the last thing to melt and the metal skeleton becomes stained black with soot, which makes the effect even cooler.

Super cute! It's a little smaller than I thought it might be, but still a really good size. I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who likes cats, and she loved it. The box explains the surprise on the inside though, so if you want that part to be a surprise, wrap it in a different box. I did, and she wasn't expecting it at all. According to her it has a good burn time - not super fast, but enough so that you can see the skeleton revealing itself in good time.

Bought this as a gift and it is awesome! It is cute as a candle and a piece of art after it melts. It was a fun timelapse opportunity and the quality is strong. I would recommend as a quirky gift for a quirky friend or an interesting discussion piece. It might also be fun to have an unused candle next to one that is burned so that you have a before and after display. Highly recommend and will buy another likely for myself.

Candle burned almost exactly as shown in the pictures. There was a little smoke that came off the metal when first exposed, but it quickly went away. No scent to the candle. Been burning about 15 hours.
