Vinaera Wine & Spirit Aerator & Dispenser
Product Description-Aerating by pouring a wine into a traditional decanter bottle requires 30 minutes to 1 hour to achieve the full effect. -Vineara accelerates aeration through a patented air injection process and dispenses fully aerated wine directly from bottle to glass with the touch of a button. -Vinaera is the world's first electronic wine & spirit aerator. It has the capacity to dispense fully aerated wine or spirits at 1 ounce（28.5ml）every 2 seconds. -Due to the pneumatic operating method, the exposure of the wine to bubble surface is 6 times greater with the Vinaera product than a funnel style aerator. -The patented design of Vinaera injects air into the stream of wine pushed from the bottle through the dispenser spout. -This air injection more effectively and quickly releases the flavors and aromas of wine, and helps oxidize and soften the natural tannins in wine. -For spirits, the oxidation through large surface exposure to bubbles releases fusel alcohols and make the spirit less "spicy" and bitter. -This instant aeration lets you enjoy the full bouquet of your wine from the first glass without the long wait of traditional decanting. Operating Requirements: Spout to table-top provides more than 26 cm clearance for the largest wine glass. Powered by 6xAAA 1.5V batteries, you can aerate and dispense to your glass more than 250 750ml bottles. (Batteries not included) The Vinaera body can be used with most common wine bottle shapes, and the tube length is optimized for standard 750ml wine bottles.
- Aerates only the wine that is dispensed
- Seals bottle top
- Great for home or restaurant environment

Really nice and the aeration is incredible! This really brings out the flavor of the wine and makes it smooth. Now for a word of caution!!! The little nipple that you slide the clear tube onto is very fragile. Naturally you can do what you want, but personally I leave the clear plastic suction tube attached to the little nipple. As there is really no reason to remove it. I feel given the fragile nature of that nipple you have less chance of breaking or cracking it leaving the suction tube in place. Now for another word of caution. You will notice in the instruction booklet there is a picture showing the suction tube at an angle resting against an indentation in the bottom of the bottle. And this picture has an x telling you this is incorrect. The reason I believe this is incorrect is because the plastic suction tube is in a bind. A bind that places stress on that little nipple I talked about. Stress that could cause that nipple to break! Some bottles have more indentation then others. Some bottles the suction tube works well with and others not so well. Here is how you could solve that problem. Take a fine toothed saw or a midget tubing cutter and saw-cut about and inch of that suction tube. Yes it is true that you will lose some ability to aerate every drop of wine if you shorten the suction tube. But it won't be the end of the world and could save quite a bit of grief! The only other option would be to only buy flat bottom bottles, or chance breaking that nipple! I deducted one star given the two issue's I have covered. The nipple is fragile and the suction tube length.
UPDATE: I used a tubing cutter and cut off 3/4 of an inch. I put some water in an wine bottle that we drank that had a large indentation. I pumped the water out with the aerator. And what the pump didn't get I poured into a measuring beaker. That amount came to 3.oz, or the equivalence of 6-Tabelspoons. As you can see not really a deal breaker! After I cut the plastic tubing I shoved the body of the pointed end of an ink pen into the tubing, This served to chamfer the inside edge of the tube.
Waste of time and money

Waste of time and money!!! Made and ship direct from China! I bought 1 and after few uses little plastic which hold the straw broke, it's unrepairable. I gave another try and ordered 2 more. After over a month package arrived direct from China, opened 1 and after 2 bottles of vine plastic broke again! Opened the second one and after about 3 weeks you can't turn this thing off! Need to pull battery out to shut this thing off! Stay away from this product. If i knew this was made in China I wouldn't buy it. I spent $300.00 and don't have working aerator.

Do a taste test from straight out the bottle and you can taste and smell the difference between the two. You can save money using this too! (Buy cheaper wine and let this open it up!)

Took me a while to come around to the cost and wondering if this worked as good as most said. Well I have to say that it's worth every penny!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this aerator. It makes a $3 bottle of wine taste like a $15 it $20 so makes up it's cost in a short period of time.

This thing is very cool. It really does make the red wine taste better. The tube does not always reach the bottom of the bottle, so you do end up having to pour out the last little bit.

Purchased this product for my wife for Christmas, she absolutely loves it. Seems to be very durable and well crafted so far. She has a little trouble pulling the tube out of the machine occasionally but it's going good so far. Would definitely purchase again

This is a great tool if you are a wine drinker...When we open a bottle we take two nights to drink it. We leave the unit on and it keeps it very nicely as well as makes is supper easy to serve the wine while also aerating it a little. My husband absolutely love this product.
