Heavy duty - Carry and protection for your Mini-Bic

So I have a giant carabiner with all the key-chain tools I am collecting on it. I have leatherman Squirts, SwissArmy knives, and short lightning adapter chargers on it. I buy a product like this and add it to my giant carabiner. Then I add the new product to my personal key chain for a week, if I like the product then I keep it on my key-chain. If I don't I put it back on the giant carabiner.

PROS:
-It works exactly as described
-Your mini-Bic lighter will be pretty safe in this bad boy
-If you don't care about weight, this is perfect

CONS:
-This sucker is heavy, and heavy duty
-Initial use may require you to stretch the metal slightly to insert/remove the mini-Bic lighter with more ease

Note: I feel like the company could do well making a heavy duty plastic version of this. Since the main purpose of this device is to protect and carry a min-Bic it's definitely not a fail. Also, they could benefit from making a standard Bic variation, since it already weights alot you get more lighter for the buik.

I think for weight considerations on my personal keychain I would sew a small cover/craddle out of elastic.

Screwpop Stainless Steel Multi-tool Pocket Key Chain Mini Bic Lighter Holder Good quality with strong grip on mini-Bic but the biner clip is a problem. I lost the Screwpop lighter holder while clipped to my key ring that I wear on a belt clip, . Evidently while getting into a camp chair with armrests, the keys bumped the armrest and somehow managed to rub it in such a way as to unhook the lighter holder. This is something that has happened before when I was using a Nite Ize S-Biner to hold my keys. Screwpop should copy the Nite Ize Locking S-Biner or somehow lock the clip. I agree with another reviewer that the Screwpop lighter holder has a lot of tension on the lighter but that means that I never worry about the lighter falling out of the clip, and while it is comparatively heavy, I have no worry of it being deformed. I like it so much that I ordered a replacement, but this time I am going to put shrink-wrap tubing over the clasp so that it won't open since I want it to STAY ATTACHED to my key ring. Other than the clasp problem, I am happy with the Screwpop mini-lighter holder.

Holds min-bic securely

I have been unable to find a replacement for the windproof mini-bic holder that I always carried until it broke. However, while searching for it I came across this guy. When I go out back to smoke a cigar I have a cord around my neck with all my smoking tools (yes, I am a philistine who lights cigars with a butane lighter) This little clip attaches right to the cord and holds the min-bic securely so I don't have to worry about hunting for it in the grass. A very handy little holder. Still searching for the windproof holder I was looking for but this fella fills in pretty good.

Works Perfect. I was looking all over for something to clip a squeeze container of lip balm with, and hang it in front of central rear view mirror of my truck. As you all know any guy who has many containers of lip balm hidden in every nook and cranny of his auto, house, boat, or tent looks as if he is either living with too many women, or is hiding the fact that he is straddling the fence of his feminine side. As this is what I use to clip the lip balm to, I now never need to go looking for some lost, half used lip balm container, which from my knowledge I may have last used when sick or something..... NOTE: I use squeezable lip balm containers for my car because the lip balm sticks melt in the heat... you have been warned!

Totally perfect for never losing your lighter

I love this! It doesn't come with a mini lighter, but you can find one at any gas station. I was surprised at how well it holds onto the lighter! I have it attached to my car keys and it holds it very securely. My boyfriend wants one as well, so I just bought it again.

I don't smoke but I bought this for my wife to use and have handy while she was in her cast and she loved it. She has slowly stopped using it over time but it's one of those things you tend to throw in a box and find a couple years later. A good buy though.

Cool Little Way to Keep Track of Your Lighter

Got this for my wife since she smokes (trying to quit) but she loves it, well I love it more the concept of it, I keep a lighter on me in case of emergencies and I like this thing, I like the companies products as well, this is the second or third product from them so far. Never-mind the fact that it will open a bottle as well. Good quality!

Great product and design. I usually have it on my keychain. If not, I'll clip it to a backpack, or my belt loop. Buy one or two, you'll never forget/lose your lighter again.

Unique and innovative method for carrying fire on your person...

Great option for carrying down and dirty fire on your person. Will hold the lighter in either direction which keeps the button from accidentally being pushed. Nice large loop for pass through. Slightly overpriced, but really the only company with a product quite like this, and it's at least very well made and rugged.

Tough as nails but very bulky. Good to clip when you need it and aren't worried about weight. Definitely not for keys.
