When I ordered these crocs Cyprus V Dress Sandals, I was looking for shoes that were open toe, slip on, had a bit of heel, that could be worn with slacks, jeans, long and short dresses and skirts, and, most of all, that were super comfortable.

These crocs actually represent my first high heel "comfortable dress shoes" purchase. Until fairly recently, I pretty much shopped for shoes on the basis of 80% style, 20% comfort. After spraining my ankle and having a certain level of residual pain that comes and goes from that sprain, my priorities have changed - now, for me, comfort necessarily takes precedence over style when selecting shoes.

I purchased these crocs at the same time as I purchased two other pairs of crocs casual (no heel) sandals - Rhonda and Patricia II. Its a good thing I purchased all three pairs at the same time because if had I purchased and tried the Rhonda sandals first, I'm pretty sure I would not have purchased these Cyprus V because the Rhonda sandals are absolutely horrible - they are anything but comfortable!

But this review is for the Cyprus V sandals ... and I am giving these crocs five stars. Here is why I really like them:
1. They make not look it, but they are actually lightweight.
2. They provide very good arch support.
3. The elastic bands on top of the sandals are on the soft side and do not cut into toes.
4. The wide heel provides a feeling of steadiness.
5. They are easy to slip into and out of.
6. I can wear them for hours.
7. The sole inset is slightly cushion-y absorbing shock.
8. The raised nodules in the sole inset provide a mild massage action.
9. The are super easy to care for and keep clean ... rinse and wear ... LOL
10. They are fairly stylish for a brand that is better known for its comfort than its styling.
11. The all black color goes with just about everything.

I am so impressed with these crocs that I'm thinking of getting another pair in another color ... maybe the Leopard or Rhinestone! Before I buy a second pair, however, I want to continue to wear these for a while longer just to make certain and also to see how they feel when wearing them on different surfaces and in different conditions.

Chronic Plantar Factitious problems have me down to wearing my Brooks sneakers solely because everything else hurts! I found these and thought I would give them a try for my sons wedding. While they are a bit high, the soft cushioning of the shoe (its rubber, spongy(ish) allowed me to wear these all day and even some extremely light /slow dancing and suffer no pain. Of course due to the height I wouldn't wear them every day but wish I could because they are so cute. No one believed they were crocs! I must have tried on 20 pair and this was the only pair that didn't immediately cause me paid and most importantly they didn't slip and slide on the floor. There is elastic at the bottom of the straps so there is some stretch that allows a better range of fit in case your feet swell or tend to run chubby like mine. These were a life saver for me!

Comfortable and Painfree high heels for women with arthritis and plantar fasciatis.

This high heel is very comfortable for me to walk a good distance. It provides stability and helps my balance. I have arthritis from the small of my back down to my toes. I have had two knee replacement surgeries. Also, have plantar fasciatis. As a result, I could not wear high heels or walk in comfort and stability. It is amazing to me that I am able to walk in this pair of Crocs high heels without pain or falling over.

Beautiful, but they squeak

They are beautiful and comfortable, but they squeak. Noticeably noisy squeak. If you are in a noisy place, then it doesn't matter, but I have worn them to the office, which is kind of quiet, and everybody looked at me when I walked by....

I had to add an update after i wore these a week... Love everything about them so far, a little tight across the top band but I have medium/wide feet so I got an 8,I usually wear 7 or 7.5. I'm on my feet 10hrs during the workday, I need comfortable but dressy shoes that I can wear with a lot. Found them! Given I've only worn them a day but no pain and they look great. Update! ..painful around the top band, so painful it actually left bruises and some kind of a cut where metal grommet must have been. I cut one side near the elastic and it loosened them up a bit, I can only wear them a half day now. And a larger size would have only fallen off when I walked.

Normally I am an 8 1/2. I ordered the 9 based on previous reviews and it fits like an 8 1/2. These are extremely comfortable to walk around in and add inches to my height. The look pretty good. A couple of very small spots on the straps chew on my skin across the top of my foot a bit which I've resolved by trimming and smoothing down and/or sticking on a small bandaid. The material makes my feet sweat.

I like these shoes because they form to fit as they get warmed up to body temperature. Also, if you run hot water over the shoes and put them on as they dry they form to fit your feet. These are good shoe to wear with pants, I think they are a bit chunky looking for a dress. That is my opinion.

Tomorrow will be the first real test because my wife is wearing them to church so she will be in them for 4 hours..She was very happy with them and wore them around the house for about an hour. The heel was good height for her. I was worried because she is 71 years young and I was afraid they would be to high for her, but she loved them...

Very comfy! Even though I'm a size 7 I went with a size 8. Many reviews complained about pinky toes rubbing. Problem avoided by going up a size. Very spongy! Happy with my purchase.

I've bought these Crocs in the past and here's what I'd like to share. I'm usually a 7.5 shoe but with these I'd say, go half size bigger. When you first get them, it takes time to get used to them due to the modules on the in-sole (wear them each day for abour an hour at a time for a week. Might be a little uncomfortable for you at first but trust me, once you are used to them, you will absolutely LOVE everything about them. They are super comfy, nice looking sandal that you can wear with almost every outfit. I have recommended them to loads of girlfriends and they feel the same about them. This is my 4th pair they ive bought over the past few years (different colors). HIGHLY recommend them.
