I love them on my collection of model tractors and my grandchildren won't let theirs' go and keep them in their backpacks so, they can play with them at any time. These toys help keep them quiet in the car so my daughter loves them too and pouted that I didn't get her one. I am sending more men and women to the kids and my daughter. They are pose able but stiff when new. However, I expect they get pretty loose in the joints, when used constantly. They go extremely well with all the full sized Bruder line. There has been no breakage.

My son LOVES all things Bruder and we have a number of small construction sites around the house at any given time. I've bought 3 of these figures so far, and every single one has broken apart at the hips. I don't think we're subjecting them to spectacular stresses... not more than any other kid might. When new, they work great with their equipment and accessories. When the first one broke, I thought, well... these things happen (it was the day after I gave it a glowing review, actually) but when the 2nd and 3rd fellas failed in the same exact manner, I stopped buying little Bruder guys. From a kid point of view, less mobility and more sturdiness would be more useful. There are several Bruder promotional videos on youtube with great production values that show kids the same age as mine, playing in the same way mine does - but in truth, they should show a few scattered limbs on the ground and it'd be more like the actual truth of the product.

We have 3 Bruder men and they have given us tons of fun. They are perfectly scaled for everything else Bruder. By using other action figure accessories (such as shotguns, grenade launchers, etc) we have made them everything from Pinkerton detectives to 1970's union enforcers to Richard Proenike. (We used Lincoln Logs, a small plastic raccoon, and a lot of imagination.) Despite claims to the contrary, this Bruder man is nearly impossible to break. Like most Bruder toys, he does disassemble, but easily goes back together. That, IMHO, is the genius of this design. Since the legs and hips are natural stress points (especially around the joints), Bruder has thoughtfully made them to 'give' so the toy doesn't break. We have had our legs come off many times and we simply switched to playing doctor and popped them back on. There is a little trick to it, but it's not hard. These are well made and should last for many, many years.

Not really needed as part of garbage truck gift

This is a cute little play toy. I bought him as an accessory for the bruder garbage truck toy. This man doesn't fit in the truck and my five year old nephew basically threw him to the side within a few minutes. Really not needed for the set but would be good if he fit in there. Save your money-the kids won't care. You're better off getting the fake bags of trash

Bought this for my 2yo son. I know that's a little on the young side, but he's a very technical "player" and is very gentle on his toys as we've taught him to be. Product is great and he/we couldn't be more pleased, he will play with these Bruder toys for hours on end and also loves his little Bruder men that can drive the trucks. I read many reviews before purchasing and yes, they are made of plastic, and yes, some parts are more rubbery to allow give when dropped (better to give a little than break) etc, but this is a very high quality toy and is a better choice for my young guy that heavy di-cast products. Nothing broken thus far, but it's great if something does pop off it can easily be popped back on or you can buy spare parts from the factory at very reasonable prices.

Neat toy figure, but overpriced. I had a different opinion of Bruder toys years ago. The figures from Bruder don't always match their toy truck/tractor scales either. What's up with that? It is not easy to get these figures into many of the Bruder vehicles. Too bad.

My son really likes playing with this product. I purchased the Bruder garbage truck last year and did not know there were figurines/workers for it. The item fits well inside the cab but only on the passenger seat, not the driver as the steering wheel is too low. My 2-year old does not care though. I like that you can have it sit and bend the knees and elbows; great feature!

If you're a model collector you'll need action figures for you vehicles and these are probably the best. Although a bit expensive, they fill the need perfectly and you can pose them from a sitting to a standing position to suit the need. For kids they are tough enough to survive even the nastiest little monsters and come out unscathed. AAA*

Great Accessory for Bruder Play sets of ALL kinds. Our kids call Him "Ritchy". I don't know why but Ritchy is ALWAYS getting yelled at for smoking near the horse barn. (Hence starting fires that need put out ALL the time) Ritchy gets cautioned about operating the yellow Crane truck without formal training. Sometimes he helps in the stable because he has a "Crush" on Heather (Our Bruder Girl Figure). Ritchy gets in trouble for putting M-1000 fire crackers off in the Bruder dumpsters (And Playmobil Porta-Potty). I don't know why Ritchy has such a Bad wrap sheet (or who he really is for that matter) but somehow he ALWAYS takes the fall for whatever happens in BWORLD. He didn't look like trouble in the package when it arrived.
