Comes with everything you need (except a phone!) It is not a fast charger, which if you know batteries, a slow charge is always the best charge anyway. Blue when its charging, green when its done! Charges my s8 just fine. Small and low, so it doesn't take up much precious space on my nightstand, and it is not so bright as to notice when i sleep, its usually a foot from my face at night, and i like it pitch black in my room at night. TMI? to bad, buy one anyway, its half the price of the identical item at Walmart. When i looked it was 79 bucks!

Junk, terrible customer service

Broke after 6 months of light use. Samsung customer service is astoundingly incompetent. Their website can't process returns for this (infinite loop), their agent return process asked me to fax my receipt which they lost. Follow up calls were confused about why I faxed my receipt even though that's what they asked me to do. They sent my broken product back to me and I have to go through the return process again...and they are issuing me a gift card to "I don't know where" (quote from their agent) which is remarkably stupid.

Stay away. From this in particular and Samsung in general.

We bought this charger to be used with an iPhone 8. The charger works very well and makes charging more convenient. The size of the charger is nice, and the rubber rings on both top and bottom of the charger ensure it stays put on the table, and the phone stays put on top of the charger. A USB cable was included, however you must provide your own USB AC adapter. It works perfectly fine using the Apple USB AC adapter included with iPhones.

Perfect Charger Option for Me!

This is a nice quality Qi charging pad. I really like not having to plug things in with my Samsung S7. It works fine with the Spigen Tough Armor case. I wanted a reliable charger that worked through the case. Other reviews confirmed that it worked fine without having to remove the case, which would be ridiculous. This lowers the wear and tear on the connector and boy is it just put the phone down in the right place convenient.

I believe this is a previous generation device, there are faster devices, this does slow charging to previous generation slow charge rates. If I really need a fast charge I plug in.

The price is better than the new Samsung chargers (but more than off brand names) and I like that the device would cause less internal heating (less stress) than the new fast chargers and the lower power transfer may also be more likely to work through the case.

Place and Charge

This is a really nice product just set your phone on top and let it charge!

I've had phones in the past have the charging port break off from plugging and unplugging the charging cable so this is a great product.

The reason for the 4 stars out of 5 is that the charging (blue) and charged (green) light stays on the whole time while the phone is on the unit.

Works Well and as it Should

Pretty good product. As other reviewers have stated, placement on the charger is fairly important. The device needs to center on the charger; it will not charge if it is off to the side, either left or right. There is some freedom in vertical alignment on the charger however. As far as charging speed is concerned, it is about half as fast as the 'fast charging' for my S6 Edge with the stock wall charger. I normally use this when I get home from work. My phone normally is around 25% battery and I place it on the wireless charger and it reaches 50% after about an hour. I have used it overnight before. When the phone reaches 100%, it will eventually stop receiving power from the charger and will start to decrease in battery remaining as it normally would when not charging. When I woke up in the morning, it was at 97% (it fully charged overnight, then lost 3% after it finished charging). I would only see this as a problem if your phone has many apps running that would cause it to drain very fast after charging. In my case, the device should have finished charging around 2-3 am and would have been "off the charger" for about 5 hours. Losing 3% battery in 5 hours is not bad at all.

There are two LED colors also. As the device charges, the underside of the front of the wireless charger will glow blue. When it is done charging, it switches to green. The charger does heat the device, though not as hot as it would get from using a normal wall charger. The Wireless charger comes with the charging unit, a usb cable to plug into the unit, and a USB wall charger to plug into the wall. The wall charger is the same as the charger supplied with the S6 and S6 Edge devices.

Doesn't charge as quickly as the factory "quick charge" 2A cords, but this works well, and offers the convenience of not having to plug your phone in to charge. Works through heavy duty dual-layer cases - was great for my Galaxy, and now works just as well for an iPhone 8 (iOS 11). This wireless charger is very helpful at work to get a few minutes of charge every time I get back to my desk, and keeps the power port free to connect earbuds. (Oh, Apple)

Very disappointing to see Samsung is selling something like this. Even Those very cheap ones in starbucks or airports work much better. This one either doesn't charge or a couple of minutes after starts blinking and stops totally. I was very excited about this but now I can't wait to return it asap

I returned it because it was doing the things that other reviewers mentioned. After you place it on the base, it charges, but after a few minutes, it stops. I placed it on the charger before I slept. In the morning is was only 41%. I thought that was odd. Then I tried to observe to see if it disconnects itself. So I lay it down on the base, it charges, then minutes later a hear a beep and I loo and it disconnected itself from charging. Like the charging stopped. So I lifted it off and placed it back charging stopped again. They I just sat doing other things and I saw that it was at 94%. Then a few minutes later, it disconnected again from charging at 96%. This was one of the issues that I read from several reviews. I decide, I do not want to deal with an unreliable phone charger like this. So I returned it to Amazon for a refund.

I decide to purchase Spigen's charging base and it works better. It does not disconnect from charging. I will wait for Samsung's fast charging charging pad and see if they fixed this issue.

I bought this as I like to use Lifeproof cases but find opening and closing the little cover over the charging port eventually wears out, now I never need to open the case ever. So yes, works with case on just fine, and is easy to use - just drop on charging circle anywhere and it seems to work fine (unlike a few others I have tried to use that are very picky about positioning.

The included 2A charger means although (obviously) slower than directly plugged in, it is still pretty quick at recharging to a usable amount (I usually leave on charge next to bed overnight, but on the odd occasion I hit 1-2% and have to go out, 10-15 minutes and it is charged enough to last an evening of light use).

Compact, good quality, works a treat, and can be had for a decent price (not RRP but often 'on sale') - I highly recommend.
