Install data: 1. You need a 12 inches of space under the cabinet when it is retracted 2. Drill a hole with9 diameter on the counter 3. The power strip with a power cord in the length of160 cm use direction: 1. Once you push down, the top will pop up about an inch, then you physically pull the unit up to expose the outlets then you can plug in 2. WOW!!! Amazing product. Fit just like it said. I used a 3 1/2" hole saw that worked perfectly instead of the 9cm recommended by manufacturer. I did not even have to Bore it out. It has three electrical outlets and two functioning USB ports. I reiterate, both of the USB ports work just fine as they have built in converter from electricity. There is one electric cord underneath the unit to plug-in for all five ports.

The unit pops up about 1 inch above the desk when the center button is pushed. You must manually pull up to expose the five ports. When the unit is extended to capacity, it clicks into place and locks. Simply push on the center button to release the lock and manually push down the unit to close. One more separate push to lock in the center button to make unit flush with surface.

Very stylish and sleek. The only drawback is that it is a little bulky. No installation instructions, but very self-explanatory.

Decent for the price. Definitely not high quality, but gets the job done and looks respectable. It seems to be a good offering for a seldomly used location, which is where I installed it: in a laundry room counter top. If you are getting this for a high use location like a desk, I suspect it may not last too long before some issues begin to crop up.

Installed in my conf. room table. It only "popped" up a few times now has to be pulled up.. but I'm okay with that... it works great and the price is hard to beat!

This item works great. It pops up with a press of the top button and then a pull. It does a great job of holding itself up and it WILL charge apple products through the USB ports which not everything will do. I put it into a wooden counter and used a small amount of silicone around the rim. The threaded compression nut has a good amount of adjustability for a vast thickness of surfaces

What a nifty device! When you have a cluttered or small desk, this really help. I do wish it was made a bit sturdier but, as of yet, I have not had any problems.

We have had this installed and in use for about 6 months now (9/23/16). It is always a good conversation starter. Works well, looks OK, but feels like cheap plastic. We installed this into our new quartz countertop. I am concerned about it working for the life of the counter top, so I purchased 2 more in anticipation of this one breaking after (hopefully)a few years of use.

Doesn't last!

We were excited to add this product to our kitchen island. The color and features were exactly what we needed. A few weeks ago, screws started to fall out of the socket. One screw broke causing the cap to be loose. Also, the pop up socket is hard to engage upward; needing lots of pressure to pull up. I would like the item replaced, but the seller doesn't have that option listed as an option for this product at this time. The item is 9 months old. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the product. Save your money! Purchase a product with a good warranty and an electronic pop up open/close feature.

Don't buy this - we bought 3 and they ALL broke

We bought three of these, and they were professionally installed by someone who has installed them before. Less than two months and ALL THREE were broken. One is stuck in the down position and won't pop up, and the plastic top has snapped on the other two. To replace them not only do we need to buy new ones, but for the two that were installed behind the cabinet back in corner cabinets it will cost $300 plus to open up the cabinets for access. One out of three and I'd say we just got a bad one... three out of three and this is a bad product.

Works as it should

The item works as it should. Pop up is kind of deceiving. It actually has a pop up that allows you to pull it up. To lower you just push it back down. The USB works with my iPhone 6 so that's a good thing.
