The GoSports giant toppling Tower is a giant version of one of America's favorite party games. The set is made out of giant size Pine wood blocks with smooth sanded edges. The Tower starts out at 2.5 ft tall and can grow to over 5 ft during games. The object is to pull blocks out of the body of the tower and replace them at the top without the tower falling over. As an added bonus, our set includes printed numbers on the bottoms of some of the blocks with a corresponding custom rules sheet. These numbers correspond with a special set of rules that make the game even more fun! For example, you may pull a block and then see it has the #6 printed on the bottom and this would mean you follow the # 6 rule which can be anything you want (skip your next turn / reverse order / draw another block / etc). The rules sheet is a dry-erase board so you can create your own rules. You can make the rules adult themed or even goofier. The game includes a robust canvas carrying case so you can neatly store the set or bring it with you anywhere. Love it! Great fun for all ages. I like that the blocks are numbered so you can make your own rules. Even turn it into a drinking game if you want! Or just keep it kid friendly. Makes an awesome loud clattering noise as it tumbles to the floor. Adds a great vibe to any party/gathering atmosphere. If you put this directly on the floor it's only about 3 foot. But we use it on an end-table for some extra height. The tote bag is extra handy!

As someone who suffers from analysis paralysis (yes even for things like giant jenga) I've spent about 6 months going back and forth about which giant jenga set to buy. After looking at pretty much every set on the internet and in stores I ultimately decided on this one from GoSports for a few reasons:
1) there are nearly 50 reviews and over 90% are 4-5 stars. Those reviews appear to be pretty valid. Many of the other sets don't have lots of reviews and/or they are mixed reviews
2) GoSports is a trusted name based on my past experience
3) This set was a good size and also had some unique features (the extra rules, etc).

My biggest concern in buying this was that it was slightly smaller (in terms of size of blocks) vs some of the other sets. However after getting this set I can tell you that I am VERY HAPPY. The size is actually perfect. As you can see in the attached pics, you can actually make this set quite tall - my son is a little over 4 feet tall and we got it above his height pretty quickly and one time we even got it above my (5'7"). What's good about the slightly smaller blocks is that they are not as heavy as the bigger ones - keep in mind that this tower WILL fall and even these smaller blocks could hurt a child if they fall on them so the bigger blocks are going to be even more of a problem. Don't get me wrong, these blocks are still pretty big (you probably won't even know you don't have the biggest blocks available), but you'll be glad you have them when they fall on you AND when you go to store them.

As for the additional rules - there is an extra slip of paper inside that gives you some ideas to try for different version of the game, along with a dry erase board, and the fact that many of the blocks have numbers printed on them - it gives you some new things to try and that's cool.

The storage bag is just ok - I can see it ripping pretty easily but at least you get something and the blocks do fit in just fine.

All in all I highly recommend this set - it's great fun for kids of all ages - from 4 to 104!

Soft wood have dents first time it fell down.

We loved it at first. Very clean and easy to handle with the bag and holder. BUT the very first time it fell down now all of the blocks have dents on them making them uneven. The wood is extremely soft. Now when all stacked up they are lopsided. I wish I would of spent more money on a better quality wood game. If you plan on playing on a small table so they land on carpet or grass then you can buy these. But once they fall on a hard table or onto cement they are instantly messed up.

Fun to play...took some sanding to make it right

I purchased 2 of these for my retirement party. We set one of them up a few hours before the party for a test run and I was seriously disappointed at the fit/finish of the product. My brother-in-law and I spent about 1 1/2 hours sanding these blocks to make them smoother (200 grit/800 grit did the trick). They were relatively smooth on the faces, however, the sides were not smooth enough to allow these blocks to be pushed out without a reasonably amount of force. The added stress of getting these ready for a party that started in a few hours really put a sour taste in my mouth. We haven't touched the other set and nobody played it because the set we sanded was so much nicer.

The whole concept of the game is to remove the blocks and try not to make the stack fall down. Blocks that aren't smooth hang up and the whole stack wants to fall down right from the start. What fun is that?

I gave 3 stars because the set we sanded was an absolute blast to play! I would have rated 2 1/2 stars if it was available. For the price, these things should be smooth right out of the box!

I own a party rental company and my "Giant Jena" games go out almost every weekend. I have 4 sets from another company and the blocks are hollow so when they fall they sometimes break or split open. The Giant Toppling Towers I received from Go Sport is exactly what I have been looking for (solid wood blocks). We love them and I'm sure my customers will too.

We have been on the lookout for a 'Giant Jenga' for a while now, contemplating what wood type and brand to get and now finally I pulled the trigger on these. Overall very pleased with the quality of the wood blocks, no extra attention (or work) needed like some folks claimed they had to do, ours are all very smooth and don't 'stick to each other at all. Some of them do however slightly vary in size and thickness, (+/- a millimeter or so?) making some of them slightly easier to pull out than others, but that is part of the game and overall experience (if they all were 100% identical, making them all friction, one wouldn't be able to pull any of them out at all).. My biggest concern is that I went for the 'cheaper' option, and not the original hardwood option, as these are made out of 'soft-wood' (pine) so I do expect that some of them will dent more less, and not to look as pretty after a couple of games (especially since we like to play poolside, over pavers)... I'll report back after having them a bit longer. The extra rules and clipboard is definitely a nice little fun bonus and the carry bag is alright, but nothing extraordinary..

Difficult To Use

We ordered this product for a July 4th party. The blocks adhere to one another. When we tried to remove the blocks, the entire tower would be pulled out of place. We even tried putting a little powder on the blocks to make them more "slippery." The game went unused at the party. We are dissatisfied and will not use the game again.

Time to tailgate!

Gosports did it right! When you need to have tailgate toys, look no further. High quality and easy to hold and carry. We have used these for 4 tailgates so far and they look new even after the amount of beer spilled on them. We have used other companies in the past and these are by far the best!

They pack easily in the bag (which is included) which makes it wasy to carry. What's even better is it comes with bonus rules and a game board so you can switch the game up and make it even more interesting.

Price is on target too!

This is a great product. Dont chance buying something else only to have to buy another soon after.

I bought this to make a "recovery" game for when I facilitate group (substance abuse counselor). I love that the blocks are numbered and it came with a board to customize for the numbers. I had been planning to write questions on the blocks, but this is better... now I don't have to write on them and can still customize it with recovery questions that I can change up. So far, I am happy with this product.

very popular with the kids. awesome drinking game also for parties, picnics, etc. FAIR WARNING !! this is real wood heavy, not that plywood sh#$. make sure to use a flat level surface. be careful with open-toe shoes or bare-feet. watch out for the li'l rugrats, curtain-climbers crawling around. when these things topple, they can hurt. oh yeah, by the way, the flat level surface i mentioned, make sure it's something that can withstand the dings and dents, something you don't value anymore. if you have hardwood floors, cover it up before setting up the game. you have been warned.
