wow!!! was looking for a small firepit for an upper terrace and stumbled across these. very nice for the effect. i live in mexico and industrial alcohol here is 99% and works perfect, plus just 2 bucks a qt. 1 qt is good for 2 fills and about 4-5 hrs total. damper is very well constructed and works perfect. also have used indoors. no smell or smoke. nice to be able to move to where the action is

Stylish and comforting, friends ALWAYS comment on this and how much they love the ambiance it sets. I bought this primarily to add an aesthetic fire/flame element to my back deck, as I didn't want to go as far as replacing the table there with a full blown fire pit. To me this is the perfect solution when placed in the middle of the table, allow us to "sit around the fire" with all the convenience of still having a table for our drinks, to play games, etc. And while there is a fireplace inside my house, this turns out to be a great option for setting the scene in other rooms! Things to consider is that this is about creating the visual more than generating heat. You'll also definitely want to use a funnel to add the ethanol. Expect the flames to take some time to get up to full size, and I've been getting just a little over 2 hours out of each fill/use and have only let it burn out versus having tried to preserve/reuse fuel left in the well.

Very easy to use. Nice looking on a coffee table. Entertaining watching the flame dance. Just be careful and follow safety directions.

Do not expect heat from this fireplace. By that I mean as an emergency heater. It is beautiful to watch, easy to assemble, easy to work with. Some drawbacks are that there is no real way to burn it for a little while, put it out, and then come back and burn it some more. You can snuff the flames out, but the fuel will evaporate (leaving an odd smell). The fuel is a little pricy, and you if you're not interested in wasting it, you'll doll out a third of a container at a time. That will give you a couple of hours of really beautiful fire.

It's a great product, only you have to purchase the flame from Moda Flame. You can't go to Walmart or a Brick & Mortar store to refill it. The liquid when filled to the "fill line" only lasts about 90 minutes and then you have to refill it. I could see spending A LOT of money on the fuel. once it's lit, it's very relaxing and enjoyable! It really sets the mood. It's not messy or anything and very easy to use. If you walk by the fireplace, the glass has a tendency to move and make a noise so when I don't use it, I put it on a shelf so I don't have to listen to it. Other than that, it's a must even though you have to repurchase fuel all the time. It's a gas guzzler!

I keep this on my balcony and it adds great ambiance to the space! Highly recommend it as an addition to any space indoors or outdoors.

Package arrived with huge logo and all the product info on the exterior of the box! Sad because my husband received the package and the gift is for him... I'm sure he knows what it is now. Large MODA FLAME logo with details "ventless table top fireplace". Bummed but package looks to be in great shape and I can't wait to start using the product!
