Perfect solution to my boyfriend's love for cars

My boyfriend has 3 cars and I have 1, and we were always on the search for the correct set of car keys. I wanted to get a key rack, but we just moved into this house and didn't like the idea of drilling unnecessary holes into the wall. This was the perfect solution!

Pros:

These were easy to install and only took about 2 minutes.

The magnets are strong and easily catch the keys when you hold them near.

They have no problem holding MY keys, and I admittedly have far too much stuff on my key ring.

Cons: My only complaint is that they are a little pricier than I would have liked. If they were closer to ~$12, I think it'd be perfect. Still, it was worth the money to not have to drill holes in the wall. Hopefully they'll last a long time! I'll update this review if I find any issues.

This little gadget really works! It is easy to put on the light switch and really holds keys great! I had my doubts when I ordered them, but they are really great. My son has his keys on a lanyard and it still holds them perfectly. It is sure easy to put the keys on the switch and then find them when I'm on my way out of the house. I like this item and I'm thrilled that I bought them. Great gadget, great value for your money.

THESE ARE AWESOME! I have these in each entrance door and my bedroom! They hold house keys, car remotes, and even headphones with a small binder clip! I have bought these for friends and coworkers, they are great! I am not a fake reviewer which is becoming common on Amazon - I actually paid for these!

The magnet is strong and it will work as advertised. However, the keys will scratch up the wall. Also, I kept knocking the keys off whenever I would reach to turn on/off lights without looking.

I don't really dig wall mount key holders, but this was the perfect solution. It blends in well especially when in use. The magnets are very strong. If your keys are heavy try using the largest piece of metal on your key chain...not just a key ring. It's all in the weight distribution! I just wish my outlet had more screw holes for more keys 😊

These are perfect if you can't keep track of your keys like me. I've made it a habit to always hang my keys under the switch by the front door and it's working so far! Easy installation, takes less than 1 minute. I've gotten plenty of compliments on it from guests that notice it. It holds up my keys without any issue by using the enclosed keyring, I have 4 keys, my car fob, and a rather large picture keychain and the magnet has no probably holding everything. I also use one of the included key rings to hold my sunglasses so I don't lose those all over the house as well. I have installed these on all switch plates near entry ways in our house, they are so worth the price.

My favorite Prime Day purchase

I'm surprised at how much I came to like this product. I bought it on a whim during Prime Day but it has become an everyday use for me with my keyring. The magnets are about as strong as pictured, they appear to be small rare earth magnets. It held the several ferrous objects I tested from a large screwdriver to a padlock similar to the product picture.

Comes with small keyrings which was a huge plus for me since I carry as few keys as possible. However, this wouldn't be usable for anyone carrying more than 10 or so items attached to your keyring. Please note these included keyrings are not required to be used with the product, any ferrous keyring will do just fine.

My only complaint is in the installation. There is no slot for a screwdriver head so you need to carefully install them with needle nose pliers to ensure it's fastened to the wall plate securely. A minor, one time inconvenience for an overall great product.

3 lbs? Maybe not, but it does hold my keys.

This mostly works great. I have to gently place my keyring on it or it will fall to the floor, but once it has caught it stays there until I take it off. I really don't think it can hold 3 lbs, or if it does you have to so gently and carefully place it that it's not worth the effort. But for my keys it works ok. The customer service was responsive.

Pretty ingenious product that works exactly as advertised. Only caveat is that you need to have light switch that has a screw or it won't work for you. Also if you have a white faceplate so it doesn't stand out as an eye sore.

These are so cool! It's a great way to keep track of your keys and the magnets seem strong. The best part? I order things from amazon all the time and my husband always gives me crap. The other day he says, "you know, I really like those magnet things" hah!
