Bummer... didn't work

I got this and was so excited to put the battery in it and gift it to my husband, but unfortunately it did not work. There was also no seal on it or anything indicating that it was un-used. Hopefully amazon will send a replacement.

I'm female and have previously purchased pen-style trimmers to keep my nose hair under control. I was pretty satisfied with my last Panasonic, though it had a nasty habit of tweaking hairs when the batteries were low. It was also hard to get everything with the Panasonic, but I just kind of assumed that's how things were.

I was wrong.

I stuck this thing up my nose and chopped out hairs that have been growing wild since the beginning of time. The Fred trimmer was able to reach everything that my old trimmer could not, and appeared to handle even the coarsest hairs with ease. It really did feel like I was using the nasal equivalent of a chainsaw, and it was AWESOME.

This thing is beyond a gimmick - it's the best trimmer I've ever tried. Granted, I've only tried three, so I guess take that with a grain of salt. 5/5, will update if anything changes.

Cute as a gag gift, but fell apart and needed to be repaired

Super cute as a gag gift, but the tip mechanism fell apart after 2 uses and we almost lost the pieces, including one of the little trimming bits that needed to be put back into the mechanism with tweezers. Was able to reassemble it very carefully and I think it'll be fine, but am a little worried about something happening to it since it is meant to be trimming ear and nose hairs.

Admitting to myself that I was at the age where I needed to consider a nose and ear hair trimmer was the biggest hurdle, and it was the childlike novelty of this device that really helped ease that blow. The device works wonderfully, it's a little smaller than you may be picturing but still totally effective for its intended purpose, looks cool, doesn't pull or hurt at all, and is easily cleaned.

I bought this for my brother who is folically impressive,

Could grow a full beard in 7thh grade. Seems to work well for him, and he gets to re-live playing kill the alien from 1965.

As soon as I saw this I knew I had to get it as a gag gift for my boyfriend. Let me explain.

I recently found out my boyfriend uses needle nose pliers to RIP his nose hair out.... I am not exaggerating or kidding. Obviously horrified I told him he should look into a proper trimmer. Like any stubborn man, he shrugged and said 'yeah, yeah'. So when I saw this I knew I had to get it as a gift for him. Part hilarious novelty, part ' I told you so' gift.

It actually ended up working really well! He uses it regularly. It comes apart easily for cleaning. And it's just fun. Haha

Wow this thing works amazing on my husband.. Bought it because it was CUTE, but it works better than any of the ones, I have currently. It fits down in his ear and the blade rotates around getting in places the other trimmers will not.. LOVE the design

Got it for my dad for Christmas. He can't get around as well as he'd like, so he keeps this baby by his side! I think he just uses it for fun. His ears and nose cant grow every couple of days! He just enjoys the heck out of it! :)

This thing makes me giggle every time I use it. I've never used a mechanical nose hair trimmer before, always used scissors, but I had to try this. Glad I did. It works very well amd is a laod of fun. If you cant have fun in every aspect of life, what good is it, ya know?
