it is nice to have the reclining feature
by Urduja (3 out of 5 stars)

I have the original Pockit and now bought this Pockit+.

I put quite a bit of travel on the original and it is still holding strong, but when the little guy (3 years old) naps, it is nice to have the reclining feature.

We do quite a bit of traveling (at least once a month on an airplane, and at least once a year out of country)

Places we have gone with this stroller and original have been numerous states including Alaska; out of country to Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Caribbean, Italy, Greece and Israel.

Pros:
-Reclines.
-It held up on cobbled streets in Europe (a bit tricky, but we survived
-Extremely packable

Cons (in comparison with the original):
-Doesn't seem to be as sturdy. Somehow this one seems to be a bit more 'wiggly' than the original
-Wheel lock does not work as well, you really have to make sure the lock is all the way down. I had some roll away issues. I did not have similar issues with the original
-Recliner system. This is about the system itself. There is a strap in the back that you cinch tight to have it in upright mode and un-cinch to give a slight recline. The cinching system is not very tight, so it would slowly slide back. I used a little S biner to keep it cinched tight and then cliped the strap to the side of the stroller. This may not make sense until you see the stroller for yourself. I will try to add pictures.

Opinion:
-The umbrella cover is nice, but did not really make a difference to me. Actually, when in recline, the side gaps are still significant enough that you would still need to use a light blanket draped over the umbrella to cover your bubs. In the original I would just use a muslin type blanket draped over the square cover and it worked to keep the little one out of the sunlight and also gave some napping privacy. The 'upgraded' cover only works well when in upright position.
-It folds about the same, slightly bulkier, but to be expected by the upgrades

Conclusion:

If you really need something that reclines and can pack really small, this MIGHT be worth it for you, but there are other good small strollers out there for a better price and with better features.

If the reclining feature is not all that important to you, and you just want the small travel stroller, then the original may be a better option. I used the original for the last 2 years before getting this one and we did just fine.

Knowing what I know now, would I have bought it? Possibly... but most likely I would have just stayed with the original...

Those tactical backpacks fit the stroller perfectly with room to spare for baby essentials

I've also gone the minimal way using removable backpack straps

Perfect Travel Stroller!
by Jessica Clingo (5 out of 5 stars)

I have a 2 year old son and 1 year old daughter. We recently traveled to Grand Cayman and since there were a few adults going on this trip, I bought two of these strollers because there was just no way I was taking my double stroller with me. I am a minimalist when it comes to traveling. I don't stuff my carry-on with 3 meals, a coffee machine, and a parachute. I like to have the basic essentials so that traveling is care free and easy. Throw kids into the mix and well, that doesn't seem possible but I made it happen and this stroller was part of the success.

For starters, this stroller is tiny, it's thin, and it's light. This is not a heavy item which is awesome for traveling! Secondly, it folds to the perfect size and yes, I took it on the plane as a carry-on. It slide right under the seat. Literally. Right underneath. When we were getting off the plane in Grand Cayman, my husband was holding my daughter, I was holding my son's hand, we walked down the ramp off the plane and in a total of 6 seconds, I opened two strollers and strapped my kids in to walk through the air port with them. This right here...this was gold. I was able to get us through immigration and customs with my kids securely strapped down so I didn't have to worry about them running a muck. I had moms coming up to me asking me where I got this stroller. They were in awe of the size and the fact that it folded.

Before I bought this stroller, I read through the comments. I wanted to see what people were saying about the stroller. I want to say that the comments about this stroller not being or not feeling sturdy are true. I experienced this first hand. However, it's a travel stroller. It's not built with sturdiness in mind and I'm sorry but if you expect BOB type sturdiness from something that weighs 9lbs and folds up like a piece of origami, then you're delusional. This stroller was epic on our trip. We went for walks all over the place and the stroller did it's job. I'm so thankful that I had this stroller on my trip and when we head to Mexico in October, this stroller will be right by our side.

One thing I want to point out because I also saw a lot of people asking does it come with a bag or does it have straps. It does not come with a bag and it does not have straps. However, I bought my own and I fastened the straps to the handles so I could carry the stroller over my arm which worked out perfectly. I realized that if it was in a bag, you would need to take it in and out of the bag which would be ridiculously annoying and then you would need to do something with the bag when the stroller wasn't in it. I highly suggest buying a strap and leaving it on the handles.

Compact, versatile and cute!

Love! I bought this stroller because I couldn't get enough of the fold. I have been a bit of a stroller connoisseur ... I've owned dozens and dozens over the years. From the cheapest umbrella strollers to $1000 doubles with all the bells and whistles.

I saw many videos and reviews of the original Pockit stroller ... I ogled over it ... just how catchy and cute that little fold was! Was the stroller practical for me? No. I didn't travel, I was about to have a newborn, and I already was pretty stashed up on strollers. I also couldn't get over the 'Sun Shade' as GB so nicely put it on the Pockit. So, I sadly went without and went on with my life.

Then I saw a video from a mama blogger, GB was debuting the Pockit+! It now had an actual canopy AND a recline! I was past the need for infant seat attachment as I had moved my moose child up to a convertible car seat ... but it also now included Cybex car seat compatibility. SLIGHTLY larger fold ... but my goodness was it still tiny.

I jumped on it! And man am I ever so glad I did ! It can fit in the bottom of my Bob Duallie basket with room to spare. It can even fit in the basket of my Sit and Stand (with a little help unsnapping from the frame first and back together)

It sits in the back of my van and it's like there's nothing there. Even when I used to keep my City Mini in there I almost had no room for groceries ... I can even put it in my stow and go area under my floorboards.

I purchased it in hopes of using it as a supplement to our double strollers for when my almost 5 year old (pictured in the stroller) would rather stroll instead of walk (We're looking at you upcoming Disney trip) and as a single stroller for my 10 month old when I need it for quick trips such as preschool drop off of the store.

I love it. It's great. If you are planning on using it on smooth ground, pavement or indoors it's great. It's not an all terrain stroller so don't be hoping for one and you're fine. Also, those videos of the GB folks folding and unfolding these things in 5 seconds? I think they might actually be wizards. It's not hard when you get used to it, but I still have no idea how to get it open without prying it open. So, don't go into it thinking you will just pop it open and you won't be disappointed. ;)

Hope you decide to give this stroller a try and enjoy it as much as we do!

THE answer to traveling with an older toddler.
by DrewsCrows (5 out of 5 stars)

I ALMOST missed this stroller. I did searches and read articles on "the best travel strollers" for our upcoming trip to Switzerland with our 4 year old son, and none of them mentioned this one. I looked at all of our options. I considered just letting him walk the whole time, but couldnt shake that nagging feeling that I could seriously regret that decision given how much walking is done in europe. The issue for us is that our son is FOUR. He's not even stroller aged anymore. We never use a stroller at home, so finding a small stroller for this trip was just difficult. It had to be big enough so he wasn't sitting with his arms crossed and shoulders folded in to his chin. It had to be the least amount of hassle possible JUST IN CASE we didn't even end up NEEDING the thing. I thought about a compact, lightweight fold-up wagon, because that would be more his speed for going on hikes and what not. The only one I could find weighed in at over 25 lbs. I even considered using my old woven wrap from when my kids were babies. This is hilarious because I never was a big baby-wearer when they were tiny! Why was I thinking I might be able to use a wrap and carry this 33 lb boy around on my hip or back every time he whined and cried to be held? Can you even imagine all the hassle of tying him in, then having to let him out, then having to tie him in again (and on and on) when he changed his mind or wiggled too much? yeah.. no thank you.

I had about given up, and was just going to cross my fingers that he'd do okay walking the whole time, and then I did one more search for "XL UMBRELLA STROLLER" and THIS gorgeous invention popped up. I watched the video and thought.. omg.. this is it. As long as he fits okay in this thing, and it's not too short for me to push (I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6'), this will solve all of our problems!

I ordered it, it came in, and it did NOT disappoint. It took about 10-15 min and some video watching for us to get comfortable setting it up and folding it back down, but our 4 year old (95th percentile - no small child) fits just fine and is perfectly comfortable. The steering is great. It doesnt have some massive all-terrain wheels (duh) but who cares? It will be perfect for sight seeing in cities, dashing for trains, going through customs.. and we ordered a strap so we don't even have to put it in a bag.

Needless to say, I feel like one of the biggest dilemmas of traveling with a toddler has been solved. Thanks GB! You ROCK.

Disappointed. Great concept. Got a lot of Praises. Broke in 3 Months.

Durability Issues! We were pushing our child (11month old, 20lb) through San Francisco, CA on July 20, 2018 when the right handlebar arm snapped in half as we were pushing him off a sidewalk ramp. We put the stroller away due to safety concerns. The left arm broke when when we opened the stroller back up to take photos.

As a manufacturing engineer who specializes in plastics, I find it obvious that the cracks are all a result of poor molding parameters and inherent molding stresses. Both cracks propagated along the weld/knit lines that form at the holes of the joints.

Considering that we've used this stroller for less than a dozen times (malls and short city trips) in the span of 3months, this is a huge concern. What if both arms snapped off at the same time?!? My baby would have fallen out onto his head!

Misc:
- stroller is REALLY light and compact. We've brought it with us onto a flight before without needing to check it in. It fits right into the overhead compartment.
- Sunshade is useless 90% of the time... it's better than the previous model since it covers the sides a bit. But then again, the previous model's shade was 100% useless.
- Storage is able to hold... a Baby Bjorn Carrier. That's it.
- Folding has its good and bad days. I never fold in the back because it makes the process extremely awkward and if you have your front wheels turning unlocked, you'll run into it jamming from time to time.

... different lightweight strollers in an attempt to find the perfect travel stroller for our little
by SHS,Top Contributor: Baby (3 out of 5 stars)
July 26, 2017

I ordered 6 different lightweight strollers in an attempt to find the perfect travel stroller for our little one. I was looking for an alternative to our Uppababy Cruz with a focus on airport travel since babe has outgrown/is no longer interested in her baby bjorn. Weight and convenience were big factors, but also want babe to be comfortable and would like stroller to last us a few years and a good amount of travel. I'm 5'10, my husband is 6'3, and babe is in 98% percentile, so needed one that worked with our heights. For reference, babe is currently 7 months.

The 6 I ordered were the qb pockit, qb qbit lte, summer infant 3d lite, summer infant 3d flip, uppababy glite and uppababy gluxe. We [unfortunately for my wallet] decided on the gluxe, but here are my comments on all 6:

qb pockit: this stroller is SO compact. if you need compact, this is awesome. The height was great for both parents and baby, and the fold is amazing. It does require both hands to open and close. It was easy to assemble, but I did think it felt a little flimsy for what we needed. The ultimate decision factor was babe did not seem very comfortable as she couldn't quite sit right in this. great idea, just not best for us. 3/5 stars.

gb qbit lte: this might be mom's fave. The fold is compact, not like the pockit, but still pretty small. The raspberry color is pretty and not overwhelming, the basket is big enough to hold something, and the one hand fold is GREAT! This felt sturdier than the pockit and wasn't too expensive. Also because of the handle design, you can push with one hand! however, babe also didn't seem comfortable in this (almost like the seat wasn't deep enough for her bum). I think this might be better for a slightly older baby, but unfortunately we need one now. 4/5 stars.

summer infant 3d lite: despite the amazing reviews, i was a little nervous that this would look and feel like a $56 stroller, especially compared to the others. I was VERY impressed when I played with it. I put this next to the gluxe and they are almost the same in terms of size, height, recline angles and the tires are very similar. If price was a big factor, this would be the clear winner. It's a great stroller for $56. I'm not convinced that this would last through more than one kid, but at that price, buying another wouldn't be a big deal. My issue with this stroller was babe's legs were in a funny spot. This would be good when she was taller (she's probably about 29" right now). Her feet hang off but the base hits her in a weird spot and I think would get uncomfortable after awhile. Again, I think this is an age/height issue, and if she were closer to 1 year it would be fine. 3/5 stars.

summer infant 3d flip: this seemed like a great idea... the lite with the added convenience of having babe face me! However, babe can only be rear facing until 25 lbs (so like next week). If we needed when babe was younger or if she wasn't a giant, this would be a great feature, but right now, isn't worth the difference from the 3d lite. I didn't take this out of the box as the weight restriction is clearly marked on the outside. i'm assuming the stroller itself is similar to the 3d lite, so 3/5 stars.

uppababy glite: i do love our other uppababy items, but wasn't sure the price of these lightweight strollers was justified. I liked the mesh seat back since babe always seems to get so warm, but that also doesn't provide a ton of support when she would be in this for longer periods. The stroller is light, but at 7 months I do think we still need to be able to recline and take a nap. this does require two hands to close (one hand and a foot to open) and i think should have only one brake for this price point. I liked it, I just thought the features fell a little short compared to the others. the wheels/tires move well, but the tires are not as good of quality as the 3dlite or the gluxe. 4/5 stars.

uppababy gluxe: i hate to love this, but it was the winner. the seat was by far the comfiest, the seat recline is easy and the angles seem perfect. this is a little heavier than the others but not noticeably. like the lite, you can open with a hand and a foot, but need two hands to close. to be compact, you need to take the front wheels off, but that is easy (one little button). it does stand on its own and I can see how the basket is hard to access, but there is no way my diaper bag would fit in there anyway so it will just be used for smaller items. babe definitely seemed most comfortable in this seat and the leg adjustments will help as she grows. i'm not thrilled about spending this much on another stroller, but based on how much i love our other uppababy products, i know i won't regret it in the long run. 5/5 stars (despite a 3/5 star price ha)

So small! Easy to use once you're used to it.

PRO TIPS:
1. Buy a luggage strap and clip it around the frame under the handlebars so you have a shoulder strap to carry it.
2. Buy a sunshade like this one because the one it comes with is literally useless. This one looks a little silly, but is cheap and gets the job done: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008J3UD4S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_UMB3yb8RFVFWQ?tag=c-t-20

Review:

Last winter we bought a cheap, $20 umbrella stroller for our annual, holiday grandparents tour. It sucked. It didn"t have good traction indoors. It was awkward to pack because ot how long it was, and the handlebars were 6 inches too short. My dad bought us this as a replacement, and boy, do we love it!

The height is just right for me. a 5'8" dude, (if you're much taller. you probably won't like pushing this.)

The tires are solid (rubber?), so steering is smooth and easy with our 30 pound son.

Folding it has a bit of a learning curve, but with like 15 minutes of practice you can figure out how to fold it in 20 seconds. VERY easy once you know the drill.

It's sturdy! There's a small bit of flex to the frame since it has lots of joints, but this just serves to absorb some of the bumps in the road.
The stroller is well-balanced and feels very stable.

OH MY GOSH it folds so small! It's incredible. I'm excited to take it on a plane! It makes road trips in our hatchback so much easier!
Issues:
1. Not a ton of room for your feet to walk behind the wheels. l just push it with one hand by the middle bar and then it's far enough in front of my feet that I don't have any problems.
2. The sun shade is very useless. Basically its only purpose is to hold up an attachable sun shade.

What a jewel of a stroller!!
by tsumerlin (5 out of 5 stars)
September 7, 2017

we were traveling out of country to visit family members by way of Korea then to the Philippines. We would have 3 airplane changes and 4 different airports to go thru so this meant several security points and customs line's to stand in. Did I mention we have a 2 year old who does not like to stand in one spot for very long. We knew we needed a stroller that we could carry on the plane for our use at each air terminal's we had bought one stroller already the weight was correct but the length was not. Time was getting short and we had not found what we needed yet one morning I turned on my kindle and wow! There was this stroller advertised it looked great! I read the facts on it and it sounded like just what we needed the weight length and height were all within the guide lines of the airlines carry on. The greatest thing it folded up to fit right inside one of our carry on baggage. The price was a bit high but it was just what we needed so we purchased it we used this stroller every day of the trip and what a jewel it turned out to be!! Just keep in mind you probably will need to demonstrate to every airlines that it will in fact fold up and fit inside a carry on bag

It would get 5 stars but it has a MAJOR design flaw
by SB (2 out of 5 stars)
September 15, 2018

We own the uppababy vista which is pretty huge but very durable. We needed a smaller stroller for travel and quick trips. The stroller is nice and compact, and you can put it together and apart quickly and easily. However, my son is always leaning back in the stroller and there IS NO WAY for us to help him sit upright. He's always slouched and you can tell he's pretty uncomfortable. Every time we go out with him in the stroller - whoever we are with ALWAYS makes a comment about why he's not sitting up more and they try to fix it, numerous couples/friends/parents/grandparents have tried without luck. We bought this stroller because our friends have it and raved but they had the older model. We were out with both of our sons - same exact age - and we noticed that on our friends stroller their kid was upright while my son was slouched uncomfortably. Why would the older model be better than the newer one? We would have bought the older one if we knew and it would have been cheaper! We couldn't return it since the first time we used the stroller we used it while going out - but we should have put him in before we left the house to test it out. I can't wait till he's too big for this stroller so we can get another one. If we could adjust the back of the stroller so he could sit better it would be 5 stars. Sometimes I hold the back of the stroller with one hand and push the other so that he sits better but obviously you can only do that for 5 minutes at a time. The two stars are for the weight and ease of using the product.

Perfect Travel Stroller!

Just opened it so I can't attest for how it does traveling, BUT the fold is small and relatively easy. Takes a few tries to get it down, but not hard.

I got some stroller hooks and it holds my diaper bag beautifully! Plus you could hang the Skip Hop organizer and use as a cup holder. Another reviewer also mentioned buying a guitar or handbag strap to use as a carrying strap and that was another great tip!
