HOT WATER EXPLOSION

danger warning- as cute as these are over time they are dangerous my mom was making tea and poured the hot water into this cup and it exploded into glass pieces and the hot water burned her hand we had to take her hospital for degree burns, these cups are not real glass and are plastic, beware...

Adorable as advertised

Order the cups as a birthday present, and we've used them every day since opened. I do think they keep liquids a tad warmer than a usual cup of this size, probably due to the double-chamber. The liquid really does fill the cup exactly as advertised into heart shape, and it's adorable! I think the bamboo spoons were included not because they're worried metal spoons will break the glass, but instead because metal spoons might *scratch* the glass. This isn't confirmed though, just a hunch from using other glassware for mixing bowls that is now scratched from constant use. As other reviewers noted the glass of the cups is really thin. So far I am not worried about breaking (many china tea cups are much more delicate) but they do make the cups surprisingly light.

I'm very happy with this gift purchase. It's such a unique product and the person who received the gift was also very happy to receive it. The set had a slight flaw in the size however when I emailed the company they quickly responded and offer to remy the situation. I also learned that each product is unique so I slight variation can occur. I liked how quickly the company responded and offer to fix. For that I gave it 5 star for great unique product and swift responsive service. I hope they continue to offer unique products.

This product is so adorable. I got it for my mom for Christmas and she loves it. If you fill up the mug all of the way you won't see the heart but if you fill it with 3/4 of the cup then it shows up very nicely. It is more noticeable with darker liquids as well.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it! She has this thing about seeing the drink in her cup, she finds it really fun so she's enjoying this cup. It was delivered in great time and wasn't damaged and so far everything is great especially the detail of the heart shape inside. I haven't washed it in a dishwasher yet only by hand but I have high hopes because everything else is high quality.

I was aprehensive about buying these as I couldn't picture how they would really look but it seemed perfect for my sister. When they arrived again, I opened slowly expecting to be disapointed. WELL, I was so surprised and very, very happy as these are the nicest cups. They show the sweetest heart shape when they have liquid in them and the spoons are a really nice quality. I re-sent them to my sister as a gift and she was thrilled!! They are delicate and very, very nice.
