We bought these for our son for his 7th birthday. We'd been looking for a fort building set for years that he could do himself, as well as something that could be compact when not in use. This fit the bill perfectly. At first, he needed some help while building as getting things inserted just right has a little bit of a learning curve. He now builds entirely on his own and loves them so much he's asked for more for his birthday this year so he can build bigger things. He's very imaginative and uses his creations for creative play. He ADORES these and has had no issues with stability, etc. Best of all, when he's done, they stow easily back in the box and can be put tidily away. Highly recommend! His play dates have liked them too!

Disappointed... hoping for a resolution....

We were really excited to get this for our 5 & 7 year old boys for Christmas as they LOVE building forts out of boxes and blankets. From the descriptions we thought it would be perfect! So far, every time they barely touch the edges of it, the thing collapses, and we built it exactly as the directions said. It has even fallen down a few times on it's own without anyone touching it. The pieces do not lock in tightly and do not stay securely clasped at all. The blue clasps are constantly popping off as well. Really annoyed considering we spent $115 on this product. We expected something a lot more durable and sturdy for the price to say the least. In contact with the company. Hoping for a replacement as they say this is not normal for their product! We will see

Use in STEM Education

I absolutely loved this kit. It exceeded my expectations especially because it is not only durable and seems that it will last for years but also the pieces have so many configuration angles. The connections can be snapped easily even by a 3 year olds. I've been using these kits in several of my STEM education lessons for ages 3 to 10 and they have absolutely loved seeing the kits come into the room. Its even catching the eyes of the older students. So far I have had the students design and build a nativity scene stable, elf house and this summer I plan to use them in some STEM education camps for a Mission to Mars themed week where the kits will be used for students to design rockets, space hubs and tunnels to mission control. I highly recommend this kit and because it will last so long I'd say its worth its price. 2 kits open up many more possibilities!

These fort boards are great! My grandkids have built some amazing structures already. They're super sturdy and fasten together easily. The kids are 7 & 10 but younger kids would be able to use them also. They may seem a little pricey but they're built to last.
