Amazing game, but has one production flaw. Read for easy solution.
by Kris C. (4 out of 5 stars)

I couldn't wait to get my Klask out on the table and start playing right away. While the game itself and the build quality is pretty solid, there is one major production flaw that hopefully gets fixed in the future. When you start playing the black tower pieces glide nicely, but oh my god they squeak constantly like nails on a chalk board. It might sound ridiculous, but I assure you I am not easily annoyed. I came up with a solution as shown in my photos. Go to a Michaels store or any craft/hobby shop, buy the exact pack of Scotch brand felt pads (see photo - 1/2 inch size are perfect), and apply one to each of those tower pieces on the magnetic sides. Works like a charm, eliminates the screeching, and maintains full strength of the magnet. Hope this helps anyone who has purchased or is debating purchasing Klask. Again, it's a great game, but beyond this one issue and having to address it myself, 8 can't find anything else wrong with the game for the price.

Additional tip: Do yourself a favor and buy the Klask replacement parts kit too. The small pieces can go flying during play, sometimes never to be seen again.

Best game ever, but is missing some things. Read full review to understand.
by Jason LeBrun (3 out of 5 stars)

So before people freak out that I didn't give it a 5 out of 5, please read why. This is one of my favorite games in the house. Everyone loves this game. That being said, I don't just review on the fun, but on the product itself. There are some things that need to be changed, and here is a list of them to really make it a 5 out of 5 product.

The board itself needs to be just a little bit taller. Some people with really big hands have to hold their paddle with a flat hand awkwardly. A design change to maybe make the board about an inch or two higher so everyone feels comfly with their hand underneath is needed.

LEVELING LEGS ARE A MUST! I have seen this so many times. The table you are playing on might be flat, but if the ground and everything around you is not 100% level, the ball and magnets will favor rolling to one side. we had to keep adding little things under the board to level it as much as possible. Also adding slip guard to those legs would be amazing. When the game gets really heated, people slamming their hands into the board while moving fast causes the board to slide all over the table. When you have stuff under the legs to keep it level and the board gets moved, you have to pause play to fix everything.

The game comes with an extra magnet and extra ball, but I would like to see it come with, or have somewhere to buy extra paddles. We have played so much that one of the paddles has gotten worn just a tiny bit, and that small little uneven surface has started putting scratches all over the board. We actually started using the bottom paddle on top, and the top on bottom because it still has a smooth surface.

Is this a game worth buying, YES, but you could you make deluxe versions, or a Klask V2 model with upgrades. That would for sure make me give it 5 stars.

Great concept, but built a little cheap
by 3Ring (3 out of 5 stars)

The concept itself is 5 stars hands down. Played it with my family and we had a blast. Knocking 2 stars off for quality and design. The rails along the side are not tall enough, so those little white pieces fly right off the board when hit, and they are not always easy to find, so it causes a lot of delays in the action. It was rare for us to keep them on the board long enough to score a point by sticking 2 of them to the paddle. Also, those paddles start to scratch the playing surface pretty quick. I feel like they could have added a little piece of felt to the bottom of them to stop that from happening. The other part I feel they went cheap on was the lack of leveling feet built into the base. I ended up buying some 3D printed ones on Etsy because let's face it, most tables are not perfectly level, and it is essential to have a level playing surface for this game. I am considering building my own game board now since the game itself is a blast. It's like mini air hockey with a twist.

It's amazing. It's the one game that everyone

What is there to say about this game. It's amazing. It's the one game that everyone, including myself, that looks at it and you say, this is dumb. As soon as you play it once or twice, you are addicted. When I first got it, my wife had that same response... this is dumb. She now thinks it's the best game. I recently broke it out at Thanksgiving, and it was like a sporting event. Everyone was gathering around the game and cheering. If you don't have the game, get it, you won't be sorry.

This is a great game to be competitive with and have a lot ...

My boyfriend and I are addicted to this game. We usually are addicted to playing air hockey, however we didn't think an air hockey table would fit in our apartment. This is a great game to be competitive with and have a lot of fun. The game itself is simple and challenging, great for all ages. The only problem we have found is with the board itself. Every so often the magnets stop gliding smoothly and start skipping around the board. We think it might be due to either dirt or if we've had it outside maybe condensation. However it just randomly keeps happening when we're playing. Usually if we wipe it off and clean out the magnets it gets a little bit better, it's just kind of inconvenient how easily it happens. And also the little magnets do fly off pretty frequently, definitely not a big deal as you just go and pick them up, however it would be nice to have some what taller sides.

All in all, it is a great game to have and a lot of fun. We even have a score sheet to whoever wins 50 Games first wins a massage. LOL

Amazing game. I have brought it to several bars/pubs ...

Amazing game. I have brought it to several bars/pubs around the Tucson AZ and Asheville NC areas and it always prompts a lot of curiosity from strangers. Everyone who has ever played it or seen it in person is drawn in and hooked. I purchased another Klask for friends and family in NC. I give four stars rather than five only because it is very important for the board to be level, and Klask doesn't include any mechanism or tools to achieve that, such as variable height "feet" at the corners--you'll end up stuffing folded up paper/coasters/whatever underneath the "feet" to approximate a level playing field, and those equalizers won't stay properly in place as the board is inevitably shifted around during a game. Hopefully future versions of Klask will involve some inbuilt mechanism for addressing this concern. Phenomenal game; highest recommendation.

This product proved me wrong!

When my boyfriend first asked me to purchase this item I thought he was crazy because it sounded like such a weird game. Well unfortunately the only crazy thing is me. This is a super fun game that's easy to understand and so far everyone who comes over has loved it. It's quick to play and a great quality product. Only downside is that it's one piece unable to fold smaller so it does take up a good amount of space.

Love it!

Love this game! We play it at work all the time during lunch. I like that games are quick, it's relatively simple and it's easy to knock out a few rounds while on our lunch break. It's a definite conversation starter and an absolute blast to play.

Would recommend buying the spare parts kit because you'll probably lose a few things and I also ordered a foam leveling kit like you'd use for furniture. Since there's no leveling system built in, if you end up on an uneven surface it will cause a significant advantage for one player.

Price might be a touch high at $50 but it's been so much fun I don't care. Multiple fiends have bought one after playing.

Simple. Fun.
by Lockespop (5 out of 5 stars)

I've been trying to come up with some fun games for my kids to play in the basement with friends, and all of the classic "game room" options were on the table, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, etc...but my wife and I weren't sure if our kids would break away from their electronics to play them, so we weren't sure we wanted to invest the time and real estate into any of those much larger games. We decided to try Klask to break them in a bit. It was a hit! We had a blast on Christmas playing our first ever games of Klask. It's simple enough that my 9yr old daughter can play against Dad and give him a competitive game (I'm still undefeated!) I get a feeling this will get a lot of play.

The game board is very well constructed, and the magnets and game pieces are sturdy enough that I don't think they'll ever be a problem. The noise of the piece screeching across the table can be a bit obnoxious, but we remedied that by purchasing 1/2" felt chair foot pads that fit perfectly on both sides of the "striker" piece and don't negatively effect the game play at all.

Great game. So simple to score. It's a real throwback-type game that Mom and Dad will love too! I can't recommend this game enough.

Fun, but Has Some Flaws
by Ninjanoises (4 out of 5 stars)

Overall, this game is a winner. The rules are simple and the game itself is fun. It's plays like a miniature version of air hockey.

But you can't just shrink down air hockey and expect the game play to be the same. Because our hands would be way too large for the striker piece. Using magnets and moving the hand to under the table is a genius solution to this problem.

I would prefer that the side walls be built a little higher, since the viruses (white pieces) get knocked over the walls quite often in excited game play.

One of my striker pieces makes an annoying squeaking sound as it moves across the board. I haven't found a solution for it yet. The sound is like nails on a blackboard, so it's bothersome. It's only on one of them. Manufacturing defect? Maybe.

I still like this game for its fun factor.
