Better than Cards Against Humanity

I've seen a lot of reviews compare this to Cards Against Humanity. I don't feel this is accurate. Personally, I thought Cards against Humanity was a dumb game. Yes, initially seeing the cards on Facebook was slightly humorous, but really it was just Mad Libs in a box. I'm a card game enthusiast and I didn't buy it, but have played it.

Comparing the two games is marginally understandable in that both games rely on a pair of cards that create a scenario. Wording and subjects are similar to those in Cards Against Humanity. Neither are games of skill. Other than that, they really aren't that similar in game play.

This game is a game that's easy for anyone to play as long as they can read. This means it's great for a party with cocktails or if you have friends that have varying levels of intellect and trivia games are out of the question.

It sparks conversation and friendly debate (without argument). People love to express their ideas and opinions, so it's a fantastic party game. It's great as an ice breaker or for people who know each other well. Honestly this is the type of game I would have used when I was training corporate classes to create team building or to get students talking to one another and relax.

Are all of the scenarios witty and great? No. It's odd how often you think the answer is a no-brainer and it isn't. (Who knew shy Bonnie from accounting had no problem getting a teardrop tattooed on her face every time she heard a dog bark in exchange for a million dollars?)

Fun alternative to Cards Against Humanity.

A fun take on the current genre of party games along the lines of Joking Hazard and Cards Against Humanity. Players pass cards to a judge describing if they won a million dollars, but every time something happened (black card), then something else would happen (gold card). Usually the black cards are fairly common occurrences (whenever you see a child, or whenever you sneeze or forget a password), and the gold cards tend to be something undesirable (you fart loudly or you are instantly soaking wet). The judge chooses the pairing they would like the least, and the player who passed it wins the round and becomes the new judge. Overall, I have had fun playing this every time it has hit the table.

A card game for terrible people...with a million dollars!

This is a great party game or just for contemplation with a friend. It's familiar for those who have ever played Cards Against Humanity.

The game suggest four different ways to play and that helps keep the game fresh and interesting. Played one way too long? It's easy to switch up and play one of the suggested ways or create your own. I would definite recommend for those with a sick sense of humor. If you live to be politically correct, steer clear.

Million Dollars, But.....This game is Amazing!!

If you like other games like Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity then you will love this game. We love this new game. We have played this game on multiple different game nights with different groups of friends. The packaging is very good looking and it embossed in different spots of the box. The game is very straight forward and easy to understand and is made for adults. My only issue with this game is the blank cards in the box are not easy to write on since they are glossy. I hope they come out with an expansion box.

Suprisingly fun and engaging!

Just like the company Roosterteeth itself discribing what MDB is all about is difficult. However once you experience it for yourself everyone loves it. More so than the cards themselves it is the discussions and senarios that people come up with that make the game fun. A great buy for any table top game collection.

If you like cards against humanity, you'll love MDB...

RT is one of my favorite companies, love the staff, love their merch, love content. First time finally buying from them, and this game was my choice. The game is very funny, interactive, and looks stunning.

A little disappointed that some of the cards are blank with really no writable space unless you use White or Black markers, also that some of the cards have sayings that were used on the MDB... show itself.

It is similar to Cards Against Humanity

Overall the game is stunning and a totally great game.

Packaging was great with no damage.

Good alternative to Cards Against Humanity

Great alternative to Cards Against Humanity. Though we love CAH, it feels a little too innapropriate with some of my older family members are playing. This game is funny, and still relies on your personal knowledge of the people playing. It does have some inappropriate cards but you can always take those out of you don't like them.

This is a great game to play with a group of people or is even good for two people just reading scenarios back and forth. Rooster Teeth did a great job with this addition to the party game market, and I hope they come out with expansion packs soon!

Do you like Cards Against Humanity? Then you'll love MDB! It really is a great game that you can play with a group for hours! Not recommended for kids, as it can get pretty morbid/dark, like Cards.
