Features

• GlowTub is made with strong ABS plastic and it comes with a rubber seal that fits around the light and holds the suction cup in place. This new light now has 2 seals to guarantee water from getting in the light! **Please retighten the lid every few days to ensure it stays sealed. Also remove it from the water when it is not being used.
• The suction cup connected to the back of the light allows you to connect the light to the side of your bathtub. This allows the light to shine across the water so that it lights up the entire bathtub. Just one light will brighten up the bathtub water and you can add bubbles for a great effect! Please note: the suction cup is designed for a clean, flat, hard, and smooth surface. It will not suction to inflatable hot tubs or rough textured tubs.
• Has 10 super bright LED lights built in with a remote control to change the lights color. The LED light Dimension: 2.7in × 1.1in. This light can be used for other options as well such as a flower vase, lighting up a room, hot tub, pool, fountains, and anywhere else you can stick it!
• This waterproof bathtub light is operated by 3 x AAA batteries (not included), The light has 16 different static colors to choose from and you can also set it to fade or jump between colors. It also includes a strobe effect! The remote is splash proof.

I bought this light to go with a new luxury bath "bed" mat. We're really enjoying it! It's both interesting and soothing. Everything works as expected. It's just the right brightness. I was worried the suction might give up prematurely but has not. It's still stuck right where I first put it. Not sure how long it'll last, but for now it's a lot of fun! I'll update this review if anything fails. So go for it!

Update: After the first bath cycle I left the light attached to the side of the tub. When I tried it again a week or so later, it didn't work. When I opened it, I found water and corroded batteries. I was disappointed and waited another week before replacing the batteries and trying it again. It worked, but one bulb was out and the remote didn't work! I was glad at least the other bulbs worked (still pretty bright), but the light is less soothing in demo mode. After replacing the remote battery, fiddling with it, and repeating some incantations, the remote changed the light a few times and stopped again. It's likely there's an issue with the remote signal receiver in the light housing.

Bottom line: For the price, this light is worth having for the fun of it. I may have under or over tightened the light before first use allowing water to seep in which could have affected the light bulb and sensor. So considering that, the fact it still mostly works, and the all around fun environment it creates, it's still worth the price. BE CAREFUL WHEN SCREWING TIGHT THE LIGHT HOUSING.

Leaks

I moved from a place where I had a built-in LED tub. I loved the experience of the lights in the bath so I bought this to try to replicate in the tub in my new home. The light was great, the remote was very convenient, and I was happy with it overall, until I removed it to clean the tub and discovered that it had leaked after just a few uses. I wonder if I had a defective unit because it was closed so tightly I needed a wrench to open it, so I don't think it was just user error that msde it leak. Pics attached

Got refund. Did NOT work properly!

A complete waste of time. I had to call Amazon to get a refund. That was a hassle in itself. I couldn't understand but maybe 2 words outta 10 that she was trying to say. I did receive an email as to what took place on the phone call. Thank goodness!!! I tried 2 NEW sets of batteries but nothing helped. It did finally come on but had to take the batteries out to get it to turn off. The remote actually turned it on but would NOT turn it back off or change the color of the lights. I suggest moving on to a different one and spending a little more money, if you want it to work properly.

It leaked !!

hi,

I tried to tighten it tight as I screwed it together after putting in batteries. It is for a portable

spa and does not "suction" to the vinyl material. I solved that by adding a weight, however

it leaked and I've not put it back under the water. I have tightened it really tight this time so

will see soon what happens. it is cool and looks great but rusting. just my info.

I originally purchased this product for my 3 year old granddaughter to have fun in the bathtub. However I liked the ambiance it sets in the bath, makes it feel more spa like and it's relaxing so I started using it myself. I purchased this product in May and leave it on the sides of the bathtub and have not experienced any problems to this point. The original batteries I put in there are still in there and its still working. I was impressed considering that is was inexpensive as opposed to other brands. I would recommend this product based on my experience with it.

Really loved the product, unfortunately it stopped working for me after about a month. At first I thought it was just the batteries needing to be swapped out, but still wouldn't work once they were replaced. Has great potential as a product, but I might wait to buy again until the manufacturers have time to fine tune the product a bit. I wish there was a way to activate the light without the remote, so it would be easier to troubleshoot whether a defect is with the device or the remote.

If I could rate negative stars I would 😒 I was very excited to review this product and went to try it out in my night time bath right away. I put batteries into the light, screwed the back on tight and... nothing! The thing doesn't work! I check the battery in the remote, even changed it, doesn't work. This thing is a piece of junk and I hope NONE of you waste your money on it. If you're thinking of buying this product I'd consider just setting your money on fire it'll be more enjoyable than a light that doesn't light up.

Very cool! Makes bath more spa-like and helps me not miss my hot tub so much :-) Couldn't quite figure out how the remote worked using all of it's functions so I emailed the seller and they emailed me cheat-sheet of very simple instructions right away. REALLY appreciate that kind of customer service and changed my review from "like it" to "LOVE it" - looking forward to trying it out now that I know what I'm doing

Loved this product! We have used this product in our aquarium and we are delighted at what it produces with its beautiful lighting effects. The kids have enjoyed looking at their fish much more and it makes the room more decorative!! We would buy many more! Love it!

Needs ALOT of work

This product is faulty and the seller does not provide refunds. DO NOT order this product if you're expecting to receive an item that works, the light does not respond to the remote even after changing the battery. Not worth purchasing
