Homesick Scented Candle
There’s a feeling that exists within every state, small town or city – an energy all its own. The smell of the air, the sounds of the morning and the memories that reside there can fill us with nostalgia when we return or rifle through mementos. These places exist in our memories, and though life often relocates us, the sentiment for our experience there remains.

Top ReviewsNC SMELL IS HORRENDOUS.

Man, I should've listened to the other reviews here on the NC smell. It's HORRIBLE. It smells like a hippie threw up some bbq while smoking a black and mild. I had to wash my hand because the candle smell was on my fingers and it was giving me a headache. $30 waste!!!!! WHO over there honestly smells it and says YES, perfect! ??? Serious question.
The smell made my Texan boyfriend cry

I got this as a surprise for my boyfriend. He moved to my state from Texas for college. I wasn't sure about how it would smell but I figured even if he wasn't a fan it would be neat as a decoration for his room. When I surprised him with the candle and he smelled it, he actually got very emotional and started crying because he said the smell instantly brought back so many memories of home. I don't know how they did it, but Homesick Candles managed to replicate the smell of home so well in this candle that it took my boyfriend back home immediately. Definitely worth my money:)

Upon looking at the stock photos, there is a photo of the size next to lemons, that being said, it still doesn't really do justice for how small this candle really is. I'd heard great things about Homesick and decided to splurge and try it out. The scent is on point, it truly is fantastic, but I was sincerely hoping I would be getting something that would last longer for almost $30.

Spent 27 years in Southern California, currently living in central Illinois and this definitely reminds me of home.

I didn't think they could capture the smell of Florida. I only bought it because I had a gift card and was curious. I honestly thought I would get a candle that smelled like Orange Juice or something along those lines. But the candle is so much more complex. Yes, there is a definite hint of citrus, but it also has a woodsy, musky scent. It smells like sitting on your porch on a muggy summer night. It reminds me of fall camping trips, and long drives. One star because it doesn't create much of a smell when burned. I can't wait to try some other scents.

This candle smells beautiful! It smells like springtime in Missouri. Just like the flowering trees that we had in my backyard when I was growing up. My father just passed away and this is just what I needed to remind me of home now that I live thousands of miles away. <3

These scents are powerful! It was a gift for my daughters teacher. We are stationed in Germany, and the kids go to a DODEA school, so all their teachers originally come from the states as well. My daughter's teacher taught her 4th grade class all about Louisiana and New Orleans and emphasized all year how much she loves it there, so I thought this would be the perfect gift for her. The candle comes packages well (no shipping injuries) and it is large and worth the price. The teachers said that the scent definitely reminds her of home, and she loved it.
Smells like an old person

Based on the scent description, I was expecting something fresh and not like an old person, but that's what I get for ordering the Nebraska candle. The smell is strong without being lit and it's good quality. Bit smaller than I expected for the price (usually I spend this much on a YC). I'm not crazy about it but don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. Just okay. Wonder if the other smells are any better, but I probably won't throw down the $30 to find out .

Amazing fragrances, I've gottwn a few candles from homesick and the Hawaii, California and Nevada ones really do remind me of those states. Hawaii fragrance is soft pineapple, coconut, beach vibes, ocean tides and light hints of sugarcane
Homesick in college

This smells like the pie shop Heaven on Earth off of I-5. It has a very sweet scent, but when you burn it it smells more like a woodsy campfire. Loved it. I'm a college student who's going to school on the East Coast and haven't been home for over a year. This was a perfect reminder of home.
