I did not buy the product from Amazon, but I originally backed the company when they had their Kickstarter campaign back in 2016. Since having the Alkemista, I have infused a few different alcohols, from my first experiment of vodka and fresh raspberries which came out great, to a curiosity of spiced rum with coffee (was unique but not my favorite). There are so many possibilities with infusing different items with this product. I'm a bit scared to try it, but I'm thinking about doing a vodka infused ghost pepper next, haha. To this date, I have not had any issues with the bottle or the seals. I do play it safe and place my Alkemista in a large bowl just in case, but never had a leak.

Build quality and finish are excellent. While there are other vessels for infusing out there, this one is by far the best looking. The removable bottom is a great feature. I infused a nice bod-proof bourbon with Texas peaches for about 2 weeks and it came out very nice.

A friend of mine bought one and raves about it, so I got one for my boyfriend. It's a really beautifully designed piece and it works great! There's a community of people who use it on IG and there are recipes and pics there as well. Such a cool gift.

This was in my monthly box from Bespoke post. Love this thing! The quality of the infusion kit is very good. I just started my first bottle infusing Bourbon and Ethan+Ashe Black Denim. After 24 hours, it smells great. Can't wait until it's infused for 72 hours. Will update this post after the first bottle is complete.
