Nice Lights - but missing screws

Typically love these lights. Ordered 2 boxes of 10 strands each and each one is missing 2 screws. That is 40 tiny screws. Before you say they are not needed... I have been down this road before. The screws ARE NEEDED to hold the battery pack properly. When I questioned the missing screws, I was told it was for the convenience of the customer when replacing the batteries. Here is what really happened when I used lights with only the 2 screws, they flickered, the batteries were able to move every so slightly within the battery case causing flickering. The battery case needs to be tightly closed to keep the battery connections from slipping. These are not expensive high quality lights, the covers do not snap tightly, and the screws do the job. I'm not dissing the lights, they are great lights for what they are and are used for, I'm just stressing the importance of all the screws being included when you buy a product.

Vendor has promised to send the missing screws. I'm hoping that the red lights I ordered are not missing the screws.

Updated 8/16/18 - Been in contact with vendor. Said they would ship out missing screws. Will absolutely update my review again when screws have been received. Going forward, suggest that packages be checked for missing screws.

Updated 8/24/18 - Vendor got annoyed with me because I stated the issue with not including the 4 necessary screws. Ended up buying missing screws from Lowes. Not happy, but lights work fine now. We buys lots of these lights for our crafts. Very disappointed in the customer service. The vendor said it took too long to put in all 4 screws, but it is totally for the convenience of the customer. I said then if time is a constraint, simply include the screws in the box. No response.

Updated 8/30/218 - Received package of screws from Vendor. Thank you. I will be happy to put the screws in the lights. As the vendor sent extra screws, I will not hesitate to order more lights, knowing I will need to place the screws (which isn't a problem). Good price, good product... but again... needs all 4 screws. Thank you.

Lights don't twinkle, they just all flash on/off at the same time

The description says the lights twinkle. They have 3 modes - on, off, and flash (all lights flash on/off together). I picked these over less expensive options because they were sold as twinkling. I can still use them as solid lights but a flashing mode is useless. Not what you would want for a wedding. The product description should be corrected.

The missing screws are a headache!

I ordered a total of 50 of these strands. Every single one of them is missing 2 screws. This means I have to purchase and replace 100 tiny screws. Most of the lights worked out of the box, but some had the backs popped open slightly (because the screws were missing!) and had to be opened and have the batteries adjusted. I left a few of them on for awhile to test my setup plan for the event I'm using them for in a week and found some of them flickered and stopped working because the pack does not close tightly without the missing screws. If I had only planned to use a few of these I might not care as much, but I really don't have time to replace 100 screws because this company wanted to save a few bucks. I would have rather paid more for a complete product. Please fix your product!

I used these lights to put them in a clear plastic ornament. I then hung them in my windows for "Blue light" to honor heroes of 9/11. One order was 10 light strands. I ordered 2 sets. They arrived in good condition,wrapped separately. They all worked(every light lit). I was worried about how long the batteries would last. I needed them to work for 4 nights. I had them on all 4 nights a total of 25 hours and they all still worked. I was extremely happy with these lights.

Not warm white, but a good deal.

Most important: It's NOT warm white. It's a bright white. Also the twinkle mode is the lights simply turning on and off-a bit jarring for a centerpiece. The seller said that the lights were bright because the battery was full, and it should be dimmer if the lights are on for a few hours. This is a questionable response, but I'll update here in if the lights really do become warmer after a few hours.

The only pros of this product was the fast shipping and the excellent price. Otherwise it was definitely below expectations. A solid 3/5.

Used these for my son's Halloween costume as Fortnite's Drift character, who has purple glowing streaks emanating from his body when fully leveled up. My son insisted on having this effect. Once he was dressed, we pinned these around on his jacket. He loved it. They made him really stand out in the dark while trick or treating & got loads of compliments from other kids.

These lights are tiny, yet very bright. I am amazed how long the included batteries last as well. After 3 hours of being on, they still have plenty of life in them yet. I like how small the battery pack/switch is; very easy to slide into a pocket & not feel any additional weight. And we got so many of them, there are several packs we haven't even opened. I'm sure they will be perfect for Halloween costumes in the future.

I bought some of the red, green and white lights. After using these for the evening hours for about a week, the red ones pooped out. The green ones and white ones have better life but not much better. On a side note, only the white ones blink - it is a 3--way switch (blink, stay lit and off). I wavered between giving this product only a one-star rating, but then decided to give it a 2 stars for its short staying power for the red ones and just a little bit better life for the others. I didn't try to replace the batteries, but didn't think that I would have to. I hope that others have better luck.

These little lights worked well for what I was wanting. I used them in a mason jar as a table decoration. I love that the battery compartment was small and also that it was white. I can't say how the long batteries last as I have not had them very long and have only used them once. When I used them they were on for a 4 hour period.

I can't believe some of the reviews...didn't know the plastic tab had to be pulled out to work or tossed them all b/c they didn't work...(Did you pull the tabs???) All of mine worked & were beautiful. My hands are full of arthritis & I unwrapped each package carefully...easily as well. Start with the part that has them secured & just unwind. leaving them in a full circle (similar to the size of the container) and they are beautiful.
