Designer's Notes:

One of our favorite things to do is buy a round a drinks for our friends. What used to be beers has become cocktails as we've matured but the love for shared conversation over beverages will never die.

Our goal was to create a bar-quality cocktail experience that you could take anywhere or give to someone. Who doesn't like great cocktails? This seemed like a worthy cause.

The first step was to create the perfect recipe for our cocktails. So we tasted. And tasted. Then we took a nap. Then we tasted some more.

Bitters. It's all about the bitters. The bitters are the botanical extracts you add to make cocktails. We tried hundreds of recipes. Until we got it just right. We've added three bitters variants to the kit. You can actually make many variations of the Old Fashioned cocktail with these bitters we've included.

After making 1000's of cocktails we've come to realize that the spoon and muddler are very important. So we custom-designed a stainless steel micro spoon that can also muddle like a boss. It's double-ended - wowza!

The next step was to fit everything in a well-designed 'kit' so you didn't feel like you were giving someone a big bulky item. We knew most people would give this product as a gift so we kept that in mind throughout the entire design process.

The kit fits right in your pocket. It's quite remarkable. Three bottles of bitters, cocktail picks, the spoon, the sugar, the linen napkin all fit seamlessly inside of these handheld boxes.

Makes a daily train commute that much more relaxing

Seems like many people buy this for more enjoyable flights, but let us not forget the value in the life of a daily train commuter as well. This package is conveniently sized and has just what you need for an enjoyable happy hour commute. Now I just need to figure out how to store some maraschino cherries and a fresh lemon zest. Everyone on the plane was jealous

I used this on a 3 hour flight yesterday and had the closest thing you can get to a perfect old fashioned in an airplane. The flight attendant was confused at first when I asked for an extra glass but after I explained she was fascinated and actually watched me make the drink! She said it looked like a chemistry experiment. I highly recommend, even if it's just to start conversation on a flight.

Came damaged

I bought this for my husband as a little honeymoon gift and gave it to him on the plane. We were bummed to see that the aroma bitters had been broken and leaked all over the inside on the napkin, instructions, and melted some of the sugar cubes. The smaller bitters were intact but it just was a bummer we couldn't use the whole kit.

I got this as part of a collection of gifts for my son's 30th birthday. The kit has everything he'll need to make a few old fashions. Of course, I included a bottle of bourbon and rum. Just a little something-something to add to the celebration. They're a cute idea for all kinds of scenarios....a chance to experiment with cocktails, travel, a picnic.......a fun gift.

I love the Cocktail kits especially for our travels. We have an RV and are on the road almost 2 months a year visiting different locations in our great country. I don't want to take up space creating a full service bar so the kits are a perfect answer to maintaining our lifestyle. The kits are a nice size, easy to use, inexpensive, and delicious! I would like to see them develop more kits for more types of mixed drinks! Thanks

Thank goodness I didn't order as a gift or wait until I got on the plane to open it! Not only had all three bottles of bitters leaked, coating everything inside the tin, but also the sugar "cubes" in the smaller tin were completely smashed up, just loose sugar! A severe disappointment! Because of the liquids in the kit, this item is not returnable, but Amazon customer service was kind enough to refund the purchase price. Unfortunately, as much as I would have loved to try this kit, I am definitely NOT ordering another one, as I'm likely to have the same experience.

Bought this as a Fathers Day Gift along with whiskey stones, old fashion glasses, and of course bourbon. This product was definitely the highlight. My husband loves old fashion cocktails and loves the ease of being able to tailor make his wherever we are. He has used it for flights, with friends (who don't have the makings for the drink in their home) and most recently on our family camping trip. Best part was I got credit for the amazing gift!
