How to Use
1. Test waterproof function before use: Insert tissue into the bag and leave the bag in water for about 20 mins.
2. Insert the phone and other accessories.
3. Squeeze out air and lock the bag. Or the bag may rise and float.
4. Wipe water droplets around the lock before taking out the phone.

Notes
1. Please keep it away from sharp objects.
2. Please test whether the bag can be fully sealed before use each time.
3. Touch ID is unavailable when phone is in the bag. While you can unlock the phone by touch screen.
4. Hydraulic pressure may impact the function of touchscreen. Take photos by volume button underwater.
5. You are not advised to use it at high temperature for too long.

I was looking for a way to bring my cell phone along on my Kayak trips without risking damage, I found this on the Amazon site, and thought that for the price it was worth giving it a try. After a moment to learn how they worked - they are a simple solution to keeping my expensive goodies dry. The photo I attached is one I took with my phone, operating it while it was in the bag and shooting right through it. Much better than I imagined possible. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is my updated review with a change from 2 to 4 stars. Why? Because the vendor took immediate action when I emailed them about the leaking pouch and I they shipped a new one within 5 days. THAT KIND of Customer Concern deserves high marks. Would be a 5 star had there not been a leaky pouch from the factory's first shipment. I would def buy this again.

I tested the product per the manufacturer's suggestion and was glad I did. One of the seams was improperly sealed and as soon as it was submerged, air bubbles streamed out. Not the protection I want for my iPhone X. Since 50% failed, they got half the 5 star rating.

OTOH, the case is pretty nice. I was able to take some good pictures thru the plastic case by squeezing two opposed side buttons. The best discovery is that the pouch allows my sound-activated selfie mode to work via an IOS app "Hey Camera". The plastic case does allow for the phone to be touch sensitive albeit a little clumsy at times.

Note: If you do not have nimble fingers, the clip on the lanyard will be very frustrating as it is designed to stay fastened thru thick & thin.

Per vendor's instructions, I placed both bags in in the sink and weighed them down in water for 30 minutes. NO leaks were evident; tissue was bone dry. Recommendations:
1. Try to squeeze out all the air before sealing the bag. It will help taking pictures
2. Touch ID is questionable, I have an IPhone 7 & had to input my numeric password to access the Home screen.
3. Practice taking a photo with the bag. I found I was taking BURST photos because I was a little to heavy handed with the shutter button and there was too much air in the bag

Other than that, this fits the bill and I will wear it on future hikes Would be interested in reading your experience.

These were purchased to use on a River float in Helen, Ga. I was SUPER NERVOUS about these. My husband an I both had brand new phones at the time. YALL THEY HELD UP LIKE A CHAMP.
I did have to remove my case from iPhone 8plus an otter box defender. For it to fit inside the bag. This wasn't an issue for me. My husbands galaxy S9+ with the otter box defender fit perfectly. There were many time on this rover float we had our bags/phones under water for minutes on end. I kept checking to make sure I still had a phone! WHICH I DID! Lol the camera wasn't perfect but it was good enough I got photos that looked good! These worked so good my husband took a few business calls while his phone was in the bag. ( I guess he could hear his clients quite well through the plastic) Floating down the river. I'd highly recommend these.

We made sure to do the test as recommended on each of the pouches and when they passed that we have been using them during fishing trips at the lake ever since. Our pictures have been coming out great and using our iPhone 6s's without any problem. We recommend them without reservations.

Water proof, comfortable wear, and easy to use

Works great, both in camera mode and video mode, and is definitely water proof (but still do the tissue test first to be sure). I use mine kayaking to take pictures and videos of cool water creatures, but there are a couple of things to be mindful of. When taking videos, take the phone out if you can (it's easy enough). The case is a bit noisy, and that will mess up the audio. Also, if it's sunny and/or hot, the case will stick to the phone, making it difficult to see the screen. Keeping the case and phone around your neck is convenient, but if you're in direct sunlight the battery will likely go into save mode. Tuck it under your lap (or somewhere away from the sun that is still accessible) to lessen the risk of over heating.

Worked exactly as advertised. The only part I wish had been simpler was opening and closing the pouch. I used it when I went on shore excursions during my cruise and loved that my passport fit into it along with my phone. It was a bit difficult every time I had to open and shut it. Acceptable because it maintained it's waterproof seal, but little less convenient than it could have been.

Water Damage after using for 20 minutes.

Of course this product failed us on our vacation and the return expired the day we traveled back from vacation. I wouldn't recommend this item. Our phone is water damaged. We did the test prior to using and it worked fine but after about 20 minutes of being submerged the plastic failed and we had a water leak. Cell phone damage and loss of money from a product I can reuse. Don't buy.

I ordered a double pack for my husband and I for an indoor water park adventure we were going on. I did the test they recommend before use and there were no issues. Within a couple hours my husbands case started leaking. Even though he took his phone out immediately after noticing the leak, his phone received minor damage. Mine, however, worked great. No leaking the entire 7 hours we spent there. I was able to take clear pictures and videos underwater and was able to use multiple features of my phone with ease while in the case. Based on reviews I read before purchasing these cases and my experience, these cases are a gamble. Purchase at your own risk.
