I have a favorite hen that I can't resist holding because she's so fluffy and soft and now I'm able to take her for a walk. It took less than a minute for her to get use to it. Lol I let her take the lead while she investigated around my yard. Happy chickens lay happy eggs.

I have successfully navigated the rough waters of chicken training with this harness. It might not be the best harness, but it's the best I could find! It seems to rub behind the legs which made some of my chickens more uncomfortable than others. Sometimes I just use the leash as a backup when carrying my chickens through crowds. (They are educational outreach ambassadors so it's in their job description to interact with humans).

A few chickens took very well to the harness and walk quite naturally with it on while other prefer to be carried. Occasionally a chicken will get her foot stuck, which can be a pain, more for the handler, especially if the bird is prone to panicked flailing. Our rooster is a flailer and his legs are more robust than the hens; when loose the harness more easily caught his foot, which he found rather distressing.

I bought two small harnesses, and will likely buy another larger one for the rooster as he grows should he stay in residence at our hen house. All that to say that overall I am satisfied with this product and find it to be reliable and easy to use.

Arrived in great time. Was a very nice harness loved the bow ties. But was way too big for my silkie. Maybe it'll fit one of my other juvenile chickens before they're full grown. Overall nice but not for a small sized chicken like advertised..

Honestly, now I know why they call cowards, chickens...our chicken wouldn't move, and just was petrified in fear...these other chickens strolling around like dogs were my dream, but, that didn't happen. Yet...had we had funner chickens, this was just perfect for our Australorps! Loved the color, the bows, everything! Just adorable!

I haven't actually walked my chicken yet, but I did try it on my little rooster. It was easy to put on and fit him well. As soon as it cools off outside, I will walk him and post a video.

I bought this for a white elephant party. It was cheap, useless to everyone in my friend group, and everyone got a good laugh about it. It was perfect.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how well it will fit a chicken or if it will make walking your chicken a simpler task.

Read the poundage correctly

I ordered a medium seemed to small for my hens. But the product was nice and the packaging was very professional. I sent mine back, I did not read the poundage correct and my chickens did not enjoy this product although it worked efficiently.
