Here's my honest review on this product.

It's a nice lock is not bulky I find it would be perfect for something like a school locker or somewhere like a gym locker gym bag.

Good for something that doesn't need the highest height of security because this thing can be tampered and open. it's something that will be noticeable if it does happen but once again this is mainly to keep honest people honest and to slow down a thief. As secure as a standard combination padlock except with the convenience of using your fingerprint.

I honestly do recommend this product for the price and the features that it provides using your fingerprint to unlock a lock is awesome and convenient having the app option as well.

Not much I could really say because I did have to send mines back due to shipping issues. The lock was in a small black box which was on taped or wrapped in plastic seal and when it was placed in the bigger shipping container box it did not have any sort of packing paper or bubble wrap at all. So you know what this means it bounced its way out the box all around. And caught a few nicks from the USB power cable I assume that was in the box with it and when I got it gave me issues setting up.

I really do think this was due to the shipping issue. Not the seller.

I still recommend this product for it is what is specified in description.

Only padlock with Homekit! (Updated)

The only padlock I've found that works with HomeKit, which is key because you can open padlock from afar in unexpected situations. I'd tried TappLock, and while that was a more substantial lock, it required only nearby Bluetooth access besides the fingerprints.

While this unit isn't quite as sturdy, not one is going to try to break in with it any more than any random padlock.

The fingerprint setup seems a little finicky but again, the HomeKit connection is the best. We've got ours set up to automatically unlock when we arrive home (this requires a confirmation via HomeKit, but there are workarounds). It doesn't "appear" unlocked, but when we reach our gate, we can just pop it off and we're in the house.

Likewise if we have others (dogwalker, etc.) who need access, we can share our HomeKit with them, and/or set up a fingerprint or simply open for access specifically when needed.

HomeKit makes it a much better product than any other multiple-user padlock I've run across.

UPDATED: I had issues with the my original purchase because of battery problems, and with its replacement because it didn't unlock consistently (even if HomeKit said it was open). The third item they sent (at no cost to me) works great!

Charge then Unplug The Device for Set Up

I love this product. I purchased it for a gym locker and it is fantastic.

It took a while to download the app, its translation to English, and to set up the fingerprint ID (about 20 minutes). You cannot set up the fingerprint ID while the device is charging. It must be unplugged.

I'll admit I had second thoughts immediately after I clicked purchase because it's kind of expensive and do I really hate having to remember my combination that much? Yes. Yes I do hate having to remember my combination, or look through my phone for the picture I took of it. I probably could have lived my life without this, but if you can afford to get something that takes away even a little bit of stress in your life then why not? Now at the gym I just walk up and touch the lock and it opens. If I forgot to get something out of my locker I don't have to go through putting in a combination all over again. So I'm happy with it. The company is great about backing up their products too. I actually had the first lock give me an error when I tried to unlock it but I emailed the company and they went through a few steps to get it to work before just sending me a new one. This isn't one of those things everybody needs, but it is better than what's out there, so if you're somebody that just wants like upgraded everything then this is definitely how you replace a $5 lock with something way upgraded.

Definity a must buy for people who go to the GYM quite often.!

I was looking for a lock the LA fitness locker and found out this fingerprint lock on Amazon. Originally I was thinking whether fingerprints locker would be too much (since it at least triples the price for a normal locker). After using it for two days, I fell in love with this lock. It is so convenient to use this product---just put your finger on the square scanning section to unlock it.

For people who are thinking about buying this product:

You have to register your product on an APP called "Nokelock". It is nice that the owner put SR code for the product series and the APP. Once you finished the above step, you could use the app to unlock the lock. The entire setup cost around 3 minutes.

Update 1/18/219

The seller reached out to me (I guess Amazon shared my cellphone number with them and they called me in the US from China to send me a replacement since the original padlock was not working). I was very impressed with their customer service. The replacement padlock work. However since this lock is dependent on bluetooth, you will be limited by the range of bluetooth and the distance to your Apple TV or HomePod to appreciate full HomeKit integration.

This lock appears well built and sturdy. It supports HomeKit. Unfortunately it is very unreliable and does not work. There appears no way to update the firmware. I would stay away from it.

Setup is so easy, have no idea why so many bad reviews about the setup.

For IOS, just scan the the little paper coming in the box.

Download the app, put in email and password to register. (Facebook or other accounts are NOT needed. Just one email, if it doesn't work, try another one. (I used hotmail)

The app will ask to access this and that( like most of other apps)

Just click all not allowe. ( notification recommended to be on, seems like the lock has alarm system)

Use Bluetooth to connect the lock, set finger prints.

Done, I didn't see anything about Apple wallet.

NOTE: it is true that the instruction has super terrible chiglish. (Chinese English, worse than google translate)

Bought one then got another.
I got this for my son and he loves it
You download the app and it tells you how much battery life each time you open it. It says it holds a charge for about 30 days we found that it actually is longer My son said while everyone else was doing their dials and twist i he was in and out fast. You can add more than one fingerprint we found that to be helpful

I absolutely love this lock. We have all of our gas powered lawn equipment locked in a cage so that our Grandkids can't get their hands on them. We have about 5 or 6 people who help us occasionally with felling trees, trimming weeds & hedges, mowing or just need to borrow these tools. Passing out that many keys is not convenient. Now anyone I've added fingerprints for in the app can just walk up and unlock the cage.

Since I saw it on TV I already knew I'll get it someday.

That's a perfect solution for gyms and clubs when you don't want to take your keys with you. Easy access, fast communication with my phone and touch is very responsive.

It feels very light and people say that's it's very fragile but they forget that all locks in this size are fragile and relatively easy to break. Just remember not to lock your fancy Tesla with that and you'll be ok. ;)
