These are much better that the plastic type and makes fixing flats much easier. Perfect shape and easy to slide under the tire. There is a risk of scratching a black wheel but this can be easily covered with a black paint pen. Great quality.

Nice Tire Spoons

My granddaughter was putting new tires and tubes on an old Panasonic bicycle so I bought her these spoons to use instead of my old rusty tire spoons.

They worked very smoothly plus they are all shiny and she liked using them. Now I have two sets of bicycle tire spoons; you can never have too many tools.

I fell into the ruse of replacing my old steel tire levers with plastic ones, which are too fat for tight fitting wheels and one broke while trying to wrestle it under the tire. These are far superior.

I already had some cheap plastic levers, but they barely worked for changing a 26" bike tire, and would not work for changing the tire on a xiaomi scooter. These are working amazingly - nice and strong with no bending whatsoever.

They will cause a bit of scuffing though, due to being metal. If you are concerned about that, don't use these.

No chance of puncturing tubes with a screw driver like I used to use. I only use two of them to dismount a tire (they come three to a pack.) I've seen these in plastic but why you'd settle for plastic is beyond me.

The critical issue on a tire iron is the shape and thickness of the "blade"; I find these just right to get under the bead but not puncture the tube.

Bought this set of metal tire irons to use on stiff & difficult road bike 700C tires. Plastic either too thick or they bend if one can get the plastic irons under the tire bead.

If you have a tight tire or tube, these are great. I used to use screw drivers or whatever I had available. These are a cast improvement over random hand tools.
