You are about to embark upon an epic battle of IMAGINATION. Every card inside this box has been delicately crafted to create an environment for you and your friends to compete using nothing more than your sense of humor and terrible judgment.

A brief word of WARNING: This is a game where horrible thoughts are oftentimes rewarded. The more you embrace your inner unruliness, the more likely it is that you will win. That being said, you can play this game as clean or as dirty as you want. In either case, we always recommend that you stop just shy of your friends and family permanently disowning you.

HOW TO PLAY

First, select someone to act as The Judge for round one. In Unruly, The Judge is ALL-POWERFUL. It is their job to push players to increasing levels of unruliness and decide who wins the round. Not only is it completely normal for players to become drunk with the intoxicating power of being The Judge... it is ENCOURAGED.

To begin the game, The JUDGE draws a THEME card, reads it aloud, and places it face up for all to see. Theme cards explain the SUBJECT of the round. The Judge then draws a MODIFIER card, reads it aloud, and places it face up beside the theme card. Modifier cards explain HOW player's answers must be delivered to The Judge.

Example:
THEME: TELL US ABOUT THE CHILDHOOD FRIEND YOU LEFT FOR DEAD
MODIFIER: DRUNK MOM

The JUDGE decides the order in which players respond: counterclockwise, spontaneous pointing, it's entirely up to them. After every player has delivered their responses, The Judge selects the winner of the round. Normally, this is based on things like humor, effort, creativity, Theme and Modifier accuracy, and of course, unruliness. The winner of each round keeps the Theme card, discards the Modifier, and becomes The Judge for the next round.

The first player to win five rounds will take their place in unruly history and be crowned CHAMPION!

There are a mix of "clean", inappropriate and dude-that's-messed-up cards. In my opinion, there are much more clean cards- which there's nothing wrong with, just something to keep in mind in case you're wondering if every single card is inappropriate.

Some seem like they might not be the funniest match but end up surprising you- or rather your group does by having different ideas/ ways of acting it out. However- we've also played to allow the judge to draw another modifier if they felt it really didn't fit, though, that didn't happen often.

I hadn't realized by the product description that there are additional "twists" to select cards. There is a symbol on some cards that have different actions, in addition to the theme and modifier. For example, if it has a musical note, you'll basically be singing out whatever the theme and modifier are. Those are also pretty entertaining.

We all really like this game. It's a bit of a different concept from the others we have and had us laughing for a long time...and arguing over who really won a round. There are plenty of cards making for a ton of combos and ability to be played over again...but I'm already hoping for expansion packs/season 2...?! 🙏🤞

You gotta have an open mind about this game, and an unfiltered one at that as well. It's a great party game if your friends are creative, expressive, and not afraid to make a fool of themselves or cross boundaries. If you haven't gotten a clue yet by the name alone be warned that it's an adult game and can get pretty dark depending on the company you are with.

Really Easy to learn, a great ice breaker, and as challenging as you want it to be. I bought this game to try with a few friends, we all had a blast! I can't wait to try tag-team and assault next. Bunch of ways to play, a lot of fun in a tiny box.

This game is hilarious. If you are looking for a good ice breaker for parties or just want to challenge decorum with your friends, give this game a try. We just got our box and played it with our neighbors. It brought several of us to laughing tears (and at least one person to absolute disgust). This game will definitely become a part of our party habit. I highly recommend giving it a go.

I just got this game from the kickstarter and played with my friends. They all hate me now.

Just kidding. We nearly pissed ourselves with a few of the card combos. Ok, I peed a little. I sang like a banshee on the musical cards and my interpretive dance was extraño yet somehow informative.

If you want to know how dark you and your friends are deep down in their souls, play this game.
