Perfect gift for those who think it's the perfect gift.

I have these. I had a young, 21 year old co-worker over for dinner with her fiancé, and she, being the spirited young lady she is, LOVED THEM. So I got them for her as a parting gift when she left the organization for which we worked (I still work there, I am sure you care). I loved her reaction to the gift. She was getting married soon after, so I felt they made a nice gift at this time in her life when her fiancé was in the OK-fine mode of adding new junk to their kitchen stuff. Now that the wedding has happened, I am sure he is thinking, wut? But that is not my problem, and I am sure they will enjoy their pig corn holders as much as I have.

Skip these-not even worth it if you got them at the dollar store

These are cheaply made with a weird color that is not like any dachshund I've ever seen, and their eyes can only be described as creepy. The first piece I removed from the package broke when I tried to remove it. I got them for a gift but will definitely not be giving them. To be honest, I wouldn't even want to eat from them...who knows what is in the weird paint that is used?!? Also, as you can see in the pictures, they're held together with super glue that is just millimeters from your food. I requested a refund since I received a damaged product, but would probably have just thrown them away if I couldn't have gotten the refund. Don't waste your time.

Very nice and usefull, careful when storing them
by Jose P Andrade (4 out of 5 stars)

These are real cute and good quality, work well for the intended purpose. The tricky part is store them without hurting your fingers when grabing them again. The original package is not designed for daily life storage, so the solution I found is to stick each pair to the ends of a wine cork. Bingo, they can be safely stored in a drawer without consuming space and it even looks cool.

Eyes are messed up. Poor paint job
by Amazon Customer (3 out of 5 stars)

I bought these as a gag Gift for my husband. Have a weiner dog and she belongs to me so I thought these would be funny. Paint job was poor as the eyes were smeared. Next year we're to hold Thanksgiving here, so will have these corn in the cob holders for the corn. I think my in-laws will get a good kick out of them because the paint job is so bad. They do their job, so that's why I'm giving them a 3 instead of a 2 star

Adorable! (Can I Say That About Corn Cob Holders?)
by MOD, Wisconsin (5 out of 5 stars)

It's true. Maybe we're biased as we own a mini Dachshund but these things are cute as can be. Nicely packaged, arrived when promised and feel like they'll last. Would be a cute stocking stuffer. 🌭

Too big for the small end of the corn
by Walter K. Ezell (3 out of 5 stars)
September 24, 2018

These cute and attractive corn-holders fail on functionality. It is hard to poke them straight into the ear of corn, probably because there are extra-long wires and one is longer than the other. But here's the worst part: If you use the whole ear of corn, the small end is smaller in diameter than the holder. Your teeth can't get to all the kernels without removing the pig. That defeats the purpose of a corn holder.

Cute.

They are pretty cute and my daughter was excited about her "corn dogs" but they seem pretty flimsy and they can't be put together to protect yourself from being stabbed in the drawer. I used corks and stuck them in those for storage. The paint job on their faces is a bit off. But these are cute and cheap and work for now.

When I received this I first thought it was great -- really solid materials
by Eric R. (2 out of 5 stars)

When I received this I first thought it was great -- really solid materials, and looked cute. But when we first used them I realized there's a double-edged sword (literally!) to the substantial materials. These are just dangerous. There's no "give" at all, and the metal prongs are very sharp and rigid. If you're a little off the mark in inserting them into the corn, and you bite onto the metal, it's not good.

It's too bad because these are fun. I've got more boring corn holders that I'd say are more "appropriately" made -- just sharp & strong enough to be easily insertable in the corn without being dangerous. I hated to do it, but I threw these out.

She liked them.

My daughter collects pigs. When I saw these I had to have them. The grandson thinks they are great. He's seven.

Haven't used them yet. If anything goes wrong, like one breaks, I'll let you know. She probably won't let us use them anyway.

Looks nothing like the picture
by Mary Gs (2 out of 5 stars)

I bought these as a gift for my Dad. The product is much larger than pictured. I didn't return them because I figured my dad wouldn't know they didn't match the photo, but I did and was disappointed they weren't as small and cute. They're much more of a rubber material than the ceramic look in the photo.
