Cheap and more like a red flashlight than a "laser" toy.

Cats messed with it a little, but the "beam" is very wide. It creates a large spot on the floor rather than a little dot. Cats now ignore this completely. Can't even get interest if I'm holding it like a normal laser toy. Getting a regular laser pointer out instantly gets attention and cats love to play with the dot. Cheap crap that doesn't work as advertised. Do not buy.

I like the fact that it is LED instead of laser ...

It's a bit overpriced and cheaply made but my cat loves it. I like the fact that it is LED instead of laser as I would worry about the laser light hurting her eyes if accidentally exposed directly into her eyes. It keeps her busy for hours!! There is definitely a right and wrong way to attach it......if it is upside down it will shine up her chin. Once I flipped it around it was fine.

Just get a laser light
by Kristy (1 out of 5 stars)

I have two cats and both are different sizes. My smaller cat, this moved all over the place on, even tightened. My larger cats fur blocked the light some. It's not a laser light, but instead a soft red circular pattern. It's more like a red colored flashlight. Didn't work well for my cats. It's a great concept, but needs some work.

This laser pointer sucks. Do yourself a favor and instead of ordering ...

This laser pointer sucks. Do yourself a favor and instead of ordering this one just pick one up from the dollar store or Target. My kitten couldn't even see the dot on the wall because the laser was so weak.

Piece of JUNK!
by Jaybird023 (1 out of 5 stars)

I know this product was not that expensive, but it is not even worth the $10 they are charging for it. Plain and simple, it's a a TOTAL piece of junk. The velcro collar does not fit into the part of the lazer they indicate that it it should be placed in. The light it projects is not even a lazer, but more like a big red flashlight.

The very worst part of the product is the on/off switch. It takes a Herculean effort to turn the knob. The ONLY way I could even attempt to turn it on was with a pair of pliers. Definitely contacting the seller to return.

Very poor quality. Light doesn't shoot a small focal point

Very poor quality. Light doesn't shoot a small focal point. It shoots out a square of light that disappears a couple feet out. It took my cat 5 seconds to figure out the light came from his collar. He spent the rest of the time trying to get it off. Worthless.

Do Not buy. My cats love toys like this light but the collar bit is horrid. Also the on off switch is hard to use. If I could rate 1 star I would.

Disappointing

We got this as a way for our cat to play with a light without having to wave it around. It started out okay, but kept falling off and eventually the cat lost it somewhere in the apartment. As hands-free laser toys go, this one was a big letdown.

OK but not a laser light
by davduss1 (2 out of 5 stars)

I thought this was a laser dot but it's just s small red light. It puts a faded 2-inch circle on the floor. The cat still chases it but a laser dot has more intensity. It's also rather cheaply made. I'll use it but I'll search for a better one.

Doesn't Work.
by B. Fox (1 out of 5 stars)

Worked for a couple seconds, gave off a very large, very dim red circle about 3 inches across, from a distance of about 2 feet. Cat couldn't care less. Then it stopped working entirely. Changed the batteries twice. Never turned back on. Junk.
