Just replaced the one I bought 15 years ago. It withstood years of use, at least 3x a month in the dishwasher. So happy I was able to find a replacement on amazon. the first one I bought theough a school fundraiser and it allows me to mix my own burger recipe and shape them in perfect burgers that are just the right size. love that I can choose the #of ounces and also how easy it is to shape and release the patty from the mold.

I've tried other patty making products, and this is my favorite so far.

I have no trouble at all making it work. I just slide a knife or spatula a little bit behind the burger to encourage it to drop.

It's nice having the two sizes. But, and this is why I didn't give it five stars, the small is small and the large is large. Neither is a normal burger size.

I'm a vegetarian and use it exclusively for homemade veggie burgers. Definitely an improvement over mashing them together by hand, and over the other two burger presses I tried.

I'd buy it again.

These do not work as advertised. They become a slippery mess and do not "lock in" like they are supposed to do. If you have nothing better to do and want to take much more time than necessary to make burgers/patties then this Kitchen Art 2-Piece Adjust-A-Burger is for you.

If you want to make your burgers by weight, then get a kitchen scale. If you want perfectly shaped burgers then get a burger press - or do what I do now and save yourself some money; Weigh the meat then press between 2 of the same sized storage containers (one inside the other - fitted with plastic wrap or waxed paper if you like) and flip out onto a plate. Works perfectly - and with items I already have on hand.

If you already have these and don't want to toss them, you can use them like cookie cutters to "cut out" your burgers. Use the oz./ lb. marks on these for thickness guides. Pat your meat into a rectangle of your chosen oz./lb. thickness and cut out your burgers with the clear rings.

Thus little gadget is amazing for helping make perfectly sized and shaped hamburgers. We bought it to make all of the burgers for a barbecue we hosted but we have used it on a regular basis since then. It is easy to use (use a butter knife to dislodge the hamburger once made) and very easy to clean. Typically we are against "one-use-tools" at our house but this one has been totally worth the space we give it in the drawer!

Any moisture whatsoever causes the fingers to slip along the outside, making it impossible to push out the burger or readjust afterwards. It's tricky to adjust with dry fingers. A bulbous point on the inside has to slip into a groove just so to lock it at whichever position you choose. It's tricky the initial time and just gets worse thereafter. Get yourself a small fruit can or water chestnut can that is only a couple of inches high and a little wider in circumference than the regular 15-16 oz soup/bean cans. Use your can opener to take off both sides and use this to pack in the burger mix with your fingers or the backs of your fingers directly onto the cooking pan or waxed paper or whatever. Afterwards, gently pull off the can. It's simple and 100% more effective than this waste of money/piece of junk filling my kitchen. It's an awkward size that can't be easily placed in just any drawer or cupboard to boot. I really don't have one nice thing to say about this product. BTW, I tried it out on several different veggie burger recipes without avail. These were not greasy burger mixes so I can't imagine how slippery this would be with fatty meat burgers.

This is absolutely worthless. The plastic is so cheap and that it doesn't hold up to pressing out patties from a single pound of meat. The little tab that "locks" the plunger piece in place to adjust the thickness of your burger just slips out of place.

Very handy. I use it all the time to make my burgers. I like the adjustments. I make very thick burgers for a main course and thinner burgers when they are part of a BBQ spread. Easy to clean and store. A nice grilling tool.

This was exactly what I wanted. We were having a family reunion with about 100 people coming. A friend loaned one to us, and we were able to patty 100 burgers in about 15 mins. The burgers were the perfect size for grilling, and fit the buns perfectly! I went onto Amazon to find one, and there it was!!! I'm so excited to have my own. We buy a 1/2 cow every year, and will now patty alot of burgers and freeze them. Makes it so easy to come home after work, grab a couple & barbque them right up for dinner!!!! Bought 2 of these for friends!!
