A few things to know before purchasing!
by Alex Le (5 out of 5 stars)

There are a few things you need to know before purchasing:
1. It comes only 1 per order, not 2 per package. The image and description can be misleading because of the use of plural words, but I actually read other reviews before purchasing and caught it. Not enough to reduce a star.
2. Quality caught me off guard. It has very heavy and solid construction. Very well-made for the cost.
3. It "can" hurt someone. It's not sharp enough to damage whatever you're trying to hang, but if someone were to run into it at eye level, or anywhere for the matter, you could definitely hurt yourself, and bad. If you're thinking about hanging this at work, I'd ask if it's ok before purchasing.
4. It does not have a pointed end, so you can't physically use the star to screw into the wall, or in my case a cubicle wall (against the 2x4 studs). You will definitely need tools to install this because you have to pre-drill a hole that is exact, OR similar in size (smaller, and screw it in to make it fit nice and snug). If you use a bigger drill bit, you'll lose some grip and strength behind holding the objects hung on it up. This was my biggest annoyance with it, and if I could take half a star on this alone, I would.
5. It's very cool and unique looking. It will turn heads and catch attention.

A little disappointing.

I was very excited to add these coat hooks to my room. They look very cool. Unfortunately, they are not of great quality. They are heavy, which I initially liked because I thought they wouldn't be cheap. But they have a screw built into the side of one of the points, which means you have to physically twist the star over and over while pushing it into the wall. They are never firmly in the wall, they always spin around. This bad system created large holes in my wall, which were only made bigger when I tried to hang my jacket and found the hook being pulled down and the whole ninja star being tilted at an angle. The holes were widened and now the screw doesn't even stay in. It can't even hold my jacket because it starts coming out of the wall. So now they are pretty much just up in my room for decoration.

Great for kids wall, looks nice.

Have one for each kid (8, 4) for hanging their robes. They both love them and they look nice on the wall. Make sure to screw into a stud and high enough playing kids can't run into them and injure themselves.

Great Product, lacks instructions

I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews, but I am very happy with this product! The stars are heavy, and do not feel like they are made of cheap metal. I purchased two and was able to install each easily. I deducted a star because of the lack of instructions. If I were less handy, I would have felt intimidated and confused about how to mount to my wall. As it was, I had to guess at the size of the mounting pin, so I could drill the proper hole into my wall.

Not bad, but cost might not be worth it.

Purchased it for hanging gaming headsets on while not being used. Upon receiving it I realized it was only one Ninja star, now this might be something I have overlooked but I feel is a little much for only one coat hook. Sure, its made from thick, strong metal but its still a lot for the price.

Cool but with flaws
by Aron Y. (3 out of 5 stars)

I purchased 2 of this as decorations to my room. First of all, I have to say that they look very cool and they stand out. They feel heavy and sturdy but they're definitely not sharp enough to even come close to damaging your coats. BUT, there are some design flaws that make me not recommend this product. The weakest point of the star is the long threaded screw tip that allows you to screw the star into the wall. The screw tip actually twisted off completely for one of my star during installation. I was disappointed that the screw tip weren't as durable as the rest of the star. Also, if you look at the picture, the bottom edge of the star is actually not touching the wall. This causes all the downward force to be put on the screw, which makes the star even weaker. Whenever I hang anything on the star, I'm always afraid that the star is going to break off due to the lack of support.

Look nice, but the threaded hook is really small

Look nice, but the threaded hook is really small. I wouldn't trust it to hold a coat. At least not for a long time.

Good buy, sturdy product.

Purchased for hubby, nice and sturdy and have added just that extra 'touch' to his office to go with the rest of his weaponry collection. I would repurchase if we ever expanded his closet area, but this was a nice deal and just the touch he wanted.

Boo.

Screw is so small, short, and blunt that I can't imagine it holding up a heavy hat, much less a coat. It has very shallow, blunt teeth on the screw, and the screw has no point. There's no way I get a hole started with it, no way to hammer it in (really, the screw is more like a blunt nail), and it is so skinny I'll have to buy a special drill bit to make a guide hole. Would be a really great product if the screw was different, because it looks really cool. It's just not very functional.
