These are great! Picked up 3 for our garden and we were pleasantly surprised to see that you can put lights inside to make them light up at night. Ended putting in a string of solar lights https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T1P632E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 in the three of them and they light up quite nicely.

My mistake and I will keep him. He's made of a thick rubbery substance. He's from China.

The reason for 4-stars instead of 5 is mine has all darker colors. For example his hat is a dark lavender or maroon. His body is darker and so are his clothes. Doesn't pop out with bright colors, but I kind of like that he doesn't. :)

The reviews on Amazon for him are puzzling. Some claim he's plastic, some claim he's only as big as their hand?? The search function shows a bright red hat & bright yellow shirt and it's located at Amazon with solar Gnome searches. The seller shows a darker hat, pants, shirt and body version yet it's still more colorful than what you'll receive. More brownish.

Wife keeps moving him where he can hardly be seen. It'll take a little time for her to get accustomed to a rock garden filled with Gnomes. Hehe

Didn't realize it was going to be so small and plastic. The colors don't match the picture at all. Red hat looks brown, my gnome looks like he has a bad spray tan. Very disappointed :(

I thought it was going to be a differently material and it might list it somewhere and I wasn't paying attention...but it's a rubber type material and doesn't have anything weighing it down on the inside so you might have to fill it with water or sand. Super funny though and looks great in my dad's flower bed! Gave it to him as a father's day gift and he loves it.

It's cute, and worth the ten or so bucks that I paid, but not worth more than that. It's some sort of rubber / plastic, flexible and shouldn't break. But it's light, lighter than the cardboard box that it was shipped in. Maybe I can blue it to a board or brick so it doesn't blow away in a stiff breeze.

I bought this as a yard decoration for my first home. The "butt gnome" is a long standing joke with former co-workers and I just had to have it. It is pretty light weight, I doubt it will do well outside in the North Dakota winds, but it was a novelty purchase for me.

When my young adult son stated that we do not have enough gnomes, I purchased this for a comical birthday present. When it arrived, I could not wait to give it to him. He laughed and said it was "awesome." When I asked where he was going to place it in the yard, he informed me that it was going to be displayed in the hatchback window of his car. It has not made it there, but appears in pictures. It is a fun gift. If it is place in the yard, it may need to be placed in an are that does not have high winds - it is light weight - but quality.

Looks cute. Everyone loves it! (Except for my neighbor.) she has to look at it every time she pulls into driveway. (But, when entertaining others, It's the thought that counts! .... RIGHT?)
