I cannot believe this is an actual product....

I got this as a birthday gift for my dear friend, who is unapologetic about the fact that he takes FORTY MINUTE showers. 40 minutes, people. Last year I got him a shower speaker that you can answer calls on---as if you're some kind of madman who's going to take a business conference call while bathing---so this seemed like a logical follow-up to that. I'm not sure what the occasion is where you need to write something down so urgently that you can't wait a few minutes (or 40) until you get out of the shower, but whatever.

I couldn't tell the difference between the "Aqua Pencil" which is included, and a regular pencil---so I'm not clear on whether it's your only writing tool or not. I guess the notepad would run out before the pencil would anyway. The only thing I would change is the suction cup on the pencil. It's a little rinky dink, and unlikely to stick unless you have glassy-smooth bathroom tile or solid marble.

Hilariously, the information on the back of the box indicates that there is a whole line of "Aqua Notes" products. How is there so much demand for shower-based office products?

These work perfect for that situation

I purchased this product for myself because I was always thinking of things I needed to do while I was in the shower but would forget to do it once out of the shower. These work perfect for that situation.. It's also nice to leave "love notes" for my husband when he takes showers after me. I ended purchasing these notes for my niece because her husband leaves sweet notes for her around the house so why not in the shower?? I found out my son-in-law thought it was a great idea too. I purchased one for him as well and they work just like they say they will. A cute little addition for a Christmas present or whatever present.

Perfect gift for students or someone with anxiety or attention issues
by Adrian J Gell (5 out of 5 stars)

For someone with mild ADD or anxiety as I have, this was life changing. It seems silly, but for anyone with a busy life or just stressed anyway, this is one of the simplest, most valuable things I can think of. Beyond that, have 5-starred it because I've had one for 18 months and can't find any flaw or way the product can be improved. It's simple and does what it's supposed to.

So why do I say life changing? Rule number one when under stress is get things out of your head and captured somewhere so you can actually focus on whatever task might be at hand without worrying about forgetting. If you then have or build sufficient habits of planning and staying organized and prioritized, there is instant assurance that the thing that came to mind will be dealt with and can be let go of, mentally. The shower was the one place I couldn't capture anything and often where everything came to mind. (side note and tip assuming anyone reading this might be retracing my own challenges: second hardest was the car: a Google Voice number just to leave myself voicemail, and a solution for handsfree dialing was the answer).

One alternative or supplement to consider: Bluetooth Speaker with LCD Display, NFC, FM Radio and Subwoofer Effect- Shower Speaker with Crystal Clear Sound and 3 Firm Suction Cups - Hands free speakerphone

While having the time visible, and having music in the shower are both nice, the Bluetooth function allows access to the voice commands on my mobile, to take a memo, set a reminder, schedule something, etc. But voice recognition over the noise of a running shower isn't 100% reliable whereas the pencil has so far been.

Suction cups fail
by MC (1 out of 5 stars)

These do not stay stuck to the wall, which is a fundamental flaw with this product. They stay up for a few days, but eventually they fall off and the pencil tip gets broken. It is too expensive for a small pad of paper for this flaw to be excusable. As an alternative you can probably use a grease pencil to write directly on the shower wall or glass. You can buy larger, cheaper, rain-proof writing books that lack the suction cups. The suction cups make this product stand out and they don't work.

Great buy

Any pencils will work with these- so you can rip them off and continue working on your note outside the shower if need be. Unlike other reviewers, i find there is no trouble at all with ripping these off the pad. The pages are very thin (but durable) and stick together when wet so make sure to only rip off 1 at a time. My only issue is that the eraser can scrub off whatever coating there is, and then you are essentially trying to write on plastic. However, it's easy to erase lightly and avoid the issue altogether.

"Don't forget, don't forget, don't forget. Oh crap, I forgot." NO MORE!

You know when something pops into your head that you have to buy or finish, but it's a totally inopportune time, like when you're just falling asleep or when you're driving? Yeah, this happens to me a lot in the shower. I think shampoo activates my neurotransmitters or something. So I got this handy little notepad to keep in my shower. I love this thing!! It sticks to my sliding shower door and hasn't fallen down once. The pencil works great, and the paper has kept it's form perfectly. Super impressed. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly sturdy and definitely waterproof
by Something witty this way comes (5 out of 5 stars)
March 28, 2019

I was unsure about these. I saw someone post about them on Instagram, and I figured it was worth trying them out since I had a gift card from Christmas I kept forgetting to use. I thought I would fill up this pad of paper really fast. It's very sturdy and definitely waterproof, though I still try to keep it out of direct spray. I was most worried about the suction cups arriving bent or folded (we've all experienced that), but they were in perfect shape and are still suctioned a month or two later. Unfortunately, though, it turns out I don't have much to write about in the shower. I've only filled one page. Oh well, at least It'll be there if I ever really need it.
