He's cute and functional
by Beauty&Brains (2 out of 5 stars)

Well he's super cute floating around my cup and a tea infuser gives me a nice strong tea like I like. Not sure how functional he is though. I didn't realize the basket notches fit into small grooves and twist to lock in place so I'm going to try him again later. On the initial run I hadn't attached the basket properly and it sloshed the tea leaves so some tiny particles floated into my cup. The basic is made of a sturdy micro mesh that holds the tea in well so I think I'll be good the second trial. He does float upright and he's about the size of a golf ball if you need reference. The stand is a durable plastic that appears to be the same as kitchen utensils are made of so there's no heat transfer when I set him in his cradle after use. I'm liking him a lot.

UPDATE: After several uses, he just leaks. I think it's the grooves at the bottom of the duck. he functions, but he just lets too much tea out. I dont mind a little bit of flake in my cup, but it's about a teaspoon every time. Guess he's just going to hang out on my desk and look cute now. (Had to drop him to 2 stars since I can't really use him)

No problems yet, I love him!

Most of the reviews I read said that their duck got filled with icky water and didn't float correctly.

I've been using my duck for a few weeks now, and I have no problems so far. I check him for cracks, but haven't found one yet. The mesh basket does a great job of keeping the leaves in.

He sits a little low, but if I pour the hot water through the mesh basket and into my cup (just to get the leaves wet), he does not tip over (otherwise the air in the leaves/basket makes him tip over at first).

I let him bob around and steep for usually about 4 minutes, then take him out and put him in his holder to cool down. After that, I empty out the leaves, rinse him off, and let him sit to dry.

I suspect fast temperature changes might make him crack, so I'm careful to let him cool off before I put him in any cold water.

So far, so good, SO CUTE!

Cute Tea Infuser

I love this little guy! I've had this for about 6 months now and I still use him very regularly. Steeps tea leaves very well, and fits in a standard mug with no problem. My only complaint is that the metal portion is now becoming a little lose as time goes on, but it still fits so I'll keep using it!

After reading other reviews about water seeping into my ducky, I was a little worried. But so far, it hasn't happened to me. Maybe it's because I just gently put him in my cup and gently rinse and wipe him off after.

Diggin' this duck

I love this little duck. I'm not sure if it's healthy to like watching this little guy float around my tea as much as I do but if it's wrong, I don't wanna be right. He's well made, adorable and the strainer part is metal which I prefer to the silicone kind out there.

I also like that he came with his cute little blue base so when my tea is strong enough he can hang out there and keep me company, without dripping all over my desk, while I finish my brew. He's the best, all my office mates agree and are jealous!

Super cute! This is my second tea ducky after one was stolen by my mom 😂 it's cute and comes with a little holder which is great to catch drips after you've infused your tea. The office gets a kick out of it too!

This has a wonderful wire mesh basket under the duck for the leaves ...

This has a wonderful wire mesh basket under the duck for the leaves to sit in and it securely fastens to the bottom of the duck as he happily floats around your cup. When your done just place him in the wave holder and no drips no spills. I love this and it continues to bring me enjoyment watching him float around everyone I drink a cup of te!!

Cute! This little duckie is so cute. It's perfect for coarse tea leaves. This infuser hold a good amount of tea may be around 2 teaspoons. The duck floated still when the cup is full of liquid but it will tipped over when the liquid is low. That's kinda make sense when I think about it. The color is is bright and I'm very please to sip my tea with this little floating in my tea cup.

CUTE but functionally too small to steep tea
by Say (3 out of 5 stars)
December 21, 2017

This is the CUTEST little tea infuser! I love mine and have given six away for Christmas. The problem is functionality: the basket is too small to effectively hold tea. Tea needs space to expand so that it may properly steep. If this were re-made with a big basket to hold the tea, I'd give it a five star rating.

Love this duckie infuser! Makes tea even more fun than it already is! Easily add tea to infuser and turn to close. Comes with the "water" cup to hold the infuser when you're done making the tea. Cute and fun!
