Unable To Even Open

I bought this item for a Christmas gift for my 12-year-old son he opened it on Christmas Eve- today and item was completely unable to open. Sealed shut. This product had leaked out. I am unaware of how this happened since it came in a perfectly new box and was not banged up or bruised at all. Unhappy with purchase. I'm sure it would've been amazing except we never got to open it. Just make sure if you purchase it you take a look inside before you give it as a gift.

Amazing Clear Putty

This putty has a better texture than the colored putties. It's not as stiff. I also like how clear it is. Just be sure you don't set it down on a dusty table or your clothes.

I ordered the liquid glass thinking putty, what I got seems to be some off brand. The putty itself is not like the other puttys we have gotten before. It gets cloudy right away. The packaging isn't Aaron's thinking putty. Very disappointed!

The putty was spilling out of the the tin and when I opened it. The putty appeared to left in the sun because it would rip and tiny tears would form when u pull it out apart. Maybe I just got a defective one but I'm very unpleased with the results

I really like the texture and the look. But when I got the container it didn't have the original crazy aarons thinking putty logo or design or anything. It didn't even have the side words like "bounce it" "rip it" etc. It is still a really great product and stress reliever.

Stays Clear if you leave it alone. Easy to get dirty, no easy way to clean it.

Bought for my 11 year old son who is into science and tech things.

Held his interest for about 2 days.

Hasn't messed with it since.

It does what it says on the tin.

It's just that once you have done what you can do with it, there isn't much staying power to keep using it.

The clear ability of this only really works as long as you don't touch the material.

Once you start using it it, the oil from your skin clouds it up. You have to let it set for awhile for it to clear back up.

Any little fleck of dirt, hair, or debris is much more visible to this product because it is meant to be clear.

Seeing as how mostly kids will be using this, it won't stay pristine long.

Really needs a way to clean the product

I purchased Crazy Aaron's Crystal Glass Thinking Putty on Amazon (3.2 oz can). It arrived yesterday and unfortunately it does not live up to your advertisements.

The quality of the putty is unlike the other Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty I have purchased in the past (the Super Lava putty was fine when I purchased it several months ago). This Crystal Glass Putty is very tacky and it sticks to your fingers and hands (seems like a bad batch may have been shipped, however, the can and packaging all look normal). The putty also does not stretch like the previous container of Crazy Aaron's putty I purchased, rather if breaks as you pull it apart (even slowly). It also does not bounce, it sticks to the table when you try to bounce a ball of the putty. It definitely is not a good value for the price and it does not live up to the advertisements, it is no fun to play with. RIP OFF Alert!!

The kid came across Crazy Aaron's putty at summer camp and ask for some. She did chores to earn it (unusual, she usually loses interest once work is involved). The putty arrives and the entire family is hooked. She and her friends play with it regularly. Parents love it too. It is AWESOME for boring conference calls at work! Even a nice distraction to ward off snacking out of boredom when watching TV.

what a huge disappointment and a waste of money

Beware not brand name!! definitely not what Is advertised. the size is a lot smaller and the lid doesn't even seal tight on the tin. So once I take it out of the bag it is just going to dry out because the tin doesn't even seal properly. I waited forever for this item. what a huge disappointment and a waste of money.

When I got it, the putty had basically glued the container shut, so it took me forever to get it off (eventually I had to use a hammer and pry it off). When I actually started to play with it, it was a lot more tough than I expected. The liquid glass would also get really foggy after I played with it for a few seconds, even though I had just washed my hands and the surface I was playing with the putty on.

Overall, I think this might be fine if you're looking for something to play with when you're frustrated. For me, it just wasn't what I was expecting.
