You pay $50 for 12 strawberries and one comes as a miniature. That was an embarrassing lack of quality control for a gift!!

Absolutely disgraceful. The strawberries my best friend received were tiny, misshapen & not ripe. The chocolate dipping & décor was so sub par...a child could've done a better job. I was completely embarrassed as this was a birthday gift. Had her son not eaten two of them I would've tried to get her to return them. NOT AT ALL like the quality portrayed in the picture.

Ordered them for a gift and they arrived with mold, see pic attached. Unsafe for consumption! Do not buy or check carefully before eating!

1st time purchase: A+ to Golden State Fruit! This was a huge step up from companies like Sherri's Berries. I have ordered their berries in the past and have been disgusted by their customer service, pathetically small berries, and thin shell of chocolate coating. Golden State Fruit, please keep doing the awesome job you do (safe packaging, cold but not frozen fresh berries, the large size of the berries, excellent amount and quality of chocolate, fast shipping, good price $29.99 and Prime shipping, etc) and you guys will outdo other competing companies! Right now you have won me over, so keep up the good work! I am so pleased by my order, thank you!
2nd time purchase (Mother's Day): as a disclaimer, just remember that with any holiday the shipping will probably be a little screwy, but it did come out very well in the end for me, and Amazon customer support was very courteous and apologetic. I had ordered the berries on the appropriate day so that they would arrive on Friday at my mother's workplace. Well, as you might expect the shipping was flooded with too many orders. At one point I didn't even know where my package was. I did call Amazon customer support and they were very helpful saying that if anything happened to the package or if it didn't arrive on time or it was ruined that I should call back and they would help me again. It turned out that the strawberries arrived on Saturday at my mom's work place, and she was able to go pick them up with no problem (just an extra drive for her since she had no work that day). The berries were once again very big and tasted delicious chocolate. (Shari's berries were incredibly small when I ordered them last year.) Even though the shipping was a little annoying, I am very satisfied again with this purchase. I would still highly recommend this company and these berries, just be prepared for the mad rush of the holidays. Thank you Amazon support, for backing up my purchase in case anything happened.

I bought two sets of these strawberries. One for a relative, and one for us. When I received it, the chocolate covered strawberries were obviously banging around the box, which left them pretty banged up. Not to mention that they were not ripened, small, and nothing like what they are pictured here looking all plumb and full. I took pictures of them. The leaves were dried out, which is horrible presentation. I'm embarrassed that our mom will be receiving this not just in appearance but not fully ripened and so small. I DO NOT advise that anyone purchase this, and I'm sorry that I did.

So glad that I inadvertently shipped to myself instead of my mother.

Sizes varied with in the box and you can see at the stem where berries were not ripe but still yellow

Box was rippled from ice pack being on top

I ordered these for my sister, she loved them and said they were juicy and delicious! The shipping was really fast too! I was worried they would arrive melted or crushed after reading some reviews, but they were beautiful!
