Nice, but...

This is a nice piece, but don't expect it to look exactly like the picture. The jacket is not blue by any stretch, it is more a dark brown/grey color. It is still nice, but I would have preferred it look like what they are advertising.

Spooky Scarecrow - great holiday decoration

This is a well detailed scarecrow. Like most Design Toscano product we have purchased in the past, the quality of the design is very good. The paint job is also very well done with only a few minor issues that are generally not noticeable. This has a very menacing face & spooky stature of bad dreams or scary movies. Don't think this will scare away the bunnies from our garden though.

This arrived in a large box. The statue is encased in a 2 piece Styrofoam mold. The arms are separate from the main body. They insert into the sides of the statue somewhat securely but are easily removed.

If you keep the box this will make storing away during the winter months or when not using as Halloween or Thanksgiving decoration easy & secure.

The only included "instructions" was a simple guide on how to care for resin statues during winter.

Overall I do like this scarecrow. Just wish this was much larger so I could use in my garden and it was not lost being pretty short.

I bought this for my mom for Halloween to put in her garden. She wasn't too thrilled with it, but I was. It's great.

Face has no scars - looks better

I love this scarecrow!
* Picture on website is not what I received. Pic #6 - close up of face - is different. Please see my pic - there are no scars. Looks much better in real life. Coat & pants are not dark grey or blue but instead is a nice medium steel grey.

The scary guy is just awesome. Looks amazing in person. Great details. I like him so much I'm keeping him up inside year round.

I recommend this scarecrow statue.
