k bought this for my son as a Christmas present. He loves Mario Kart. . I was expecting a inferior product based on reviews. i was dead wrong. the item is pretty sturdy. . Highly detailed. . Picked it up for around $60 on Amazon, It a fast r/c vehicle for my 6 year's old, but he loves it. It is quite large. and it comessage with a 9 volt battery for the radio and a rechargeable battery pack for the car. Make sure to charge the battery pack outside of vehicle. the chassis is strong plastic. It takes lots of bumps around the house. If your expecting this car to be off road like hobby r/c vehicles, its not. It a great toy for kids and adults. I wish I had also bought the Mario version, so we can both race. only Mario and Yoshi are available. Wish it had more characters. Both me and my sob are very happy with this purchase. Thank you. This radio control kart may not have any educational value but my grandson sure enjoys racing one of his favorite Nintendo characters around the house. And that makes this item worth every penny to me. Because seeing him having so much fun is priceless.

I bought this for my sister's birthday

I bought this item for my sister's birthday and when she drove it the first time it was great. Then when the batteries died I charged it again until the light went green. I followed the instructions very closely. But it did not work the second time it's wheel would only turn but I couldn't move forward or backwards. I got it replaced and the exact issue happened to the second one. I was very disappointed.

Screws seemed to be stripped. Easy fix for someone that's had a bunch of remote control cars. But kind of a nuisance.

Car looks pretty awesome, tho.

I already own this R/C car, and my grandson LOVE it!!! So, I ordered this one for one of my grandsons for Christmas, and the Mario one for the other. I am sure we will have a blast on Christmas morning!!!

Excellent product but the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the packaging was horrible!. The box arrived open, it only had one tape around the box. Luckily the product was intact.
