Seeds siezed by Customs
by Murray Online Shopper (1 out of 5 stars)

U.S. Department of Agriculture found seeds in violation of the agriculture quarantine regulation pertaining the entry and movement of plants. These seeds from Singapore lacked documentation (phyto-sanitary certificate). The prohibited material (seeds) had been removed and destroyed by Customs. I received only the emptied envelope with (Customs) PPQ Form 287 inside.

So far so good

I have received my seeds after couple of weeks. I planted around 10 and 2 sprouted thus far. Small little cute babies. I will rate higher once I get more results.

Update:

They are growing with little leaves. Very tiny plants. All that I've planted are growing. Very very nice. I had to go to several sites to find the most common technique and figure out how to grow it. Well drained soil (I used coconute fibers too) and sprinkled on top. They all fell into little gaps. I gently watered and kept in a shaded area. The soil is not soaked though. Bottom does not collect water. It drains well.

After a while they were growing. There is barely any direct sunlight. In fact the direct sunlight hits the side of the pot not the soil at all. It is also in a clean area.

No wind is blowing on it and I will be keeping it away from any wind.

Don't do it.

I was suspicious of this from the beginning and my suspicions proved out. Most strawberries are not sold as seed with the exception of the Alpine types. If you want strawberries, do the research to find a variety that fits your needs and then purchase from a reputable source.

well lets just say I got the package last week that I ordered in feb and I just opened them to put them in tiny pods...the seeds felt kind of big from the out side of the silver package so I assumed they were big seeds for big strawberries, even though the package said on the outside " SAFFRON" I said oh well the package came from china maybe that's how they spell strawberry over there....I just googled saffron seeds and yep that's what they are lol--I planted them anyway lets see what happens but these nice big white round seeds do not look like strawberries that came from China!!! I cant rate this item lol do not know what it is..

none of the seeds sprouted!!!

I purchased 5 different types of seeds from ROBsRAREandGIANTseeds. 2 different types of blueberry plant seeds, 1 type of strawberry plant seed, 1 type of blackberry plant seed & 1 type of watermelon plant seed. ALL of these seeds were sown in a plant house environment. The only seed that sprouted was a single watermelon plant. Not a single blueberry, blackberry or strawberry plant sprouted from the seeds purchased from ROBsRAREandGIANTseeds.

At the same time as planting the seeds listed above, I also planted several tomato, cucumber & pepper plants seeds that were purchased from another supplier. They all grew as expected

DO NOT BUY SEEDS FROM ROBsRAREandGIANTseeds IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO ACTUALLY SPROUT & GROW. THESE WERE THE WORST SEEDS THAT I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!!!!!

Perhaps if I had better instructions I could have had a better outcome

So I got these seeds as expected and mine did not come with instructions, so I had to go on you tube. Out of 25 seeds I only got 3 seedling of which 2 died. I followed 2 different types of growing methods and still only 3 sprouted. The one that I do have left is very, very small and just hanging on. Perhaps if I had better instructions I could have had a better outcome. But I still remain hopeful that the one I do have will continue to grow.

Bad seeds, do not waste your money

No one seed ever germinated. I bought strawberry seeds from a reputable company online and all of their seeds germinated. I ordered several different seeds from this seller and every seed packet I received from this seller was bad. I am an avid gardener with a very green thumb and over 30 years of experience.

Took my chances and they took my money , never ordering from this company again, not reliable. But tried it for a few dollars and lost, but they lost huge as I will never order anything from their store ever, The test failed huge, do. Not order for. Five shop. Unreliable and I was fair with giving almost one month past delivery date, If I could give a negative star I would.

You should not even get one star but it's the only way to be able to write a bad comment for your Very bad product, don't buy guys.
