Great organizational bag - perfect!

Great bag and was exactly what I was looking for. I'm actually on a trip right now and have it stuffed full of clothing nightly tightened down. I like the fact that I don't have to guess as to where my clean underwear, socks shirts, workout clothes are at any point along the way. Like that I can open on either end although I always have one end secured in a knot along with the tie-down clasp. Light weight parachute material is extremely durable. Hardware is simple and easy to use. Not sure if it actually saves a lot space in my duffle bag or not. For sure doesn't add space. I like the "all in one place" convenience that provides maximum organization in my bag or suitcase.

This product is a really great concept. Although mine arrived missing a draw-string on one side, I was still able to use it in a trip immediately after it arrived by using a spare shoelace in place of the missing draw-string. Unfortunately I broke one of the clips when I was tightening it, perhaps due to pushing the limits of how much it can compress a large quantity of clothing. Even through all that, it still made it through the trip and really helped compress the contents of my backpack.

When I got home, I contacted Gobi Gear to ask about replacing my Hobo Roll and described what happened. All they required was photo evidence of the problem and my order number, and they shipped me a brand new one, and even let me keep the slightly broken one! This is definitely a company that cares about quality and keeping the customer happy. I highly recommend it!

I loooooved it. The material it's made from is much more durable than I expected and it's so much more convenient that having several separate stuff sacks. I got mine to bring on the Appalachian Trail, I ended up sending it home to try and cut down weight though.

It works wonderfully as an overnight bag for me now.

Only problem I had with it was that one of the clasps broke, but I think that was due to my boyfriend yanking it too hard and not manufacturer error. Either way it was easy to replace and the hobo roll still works perfectly.

Used this on a two week trip to Iceland and Germany. Used it for dirty clothes. My wife even commented - "How Much can you get in that thing?" She was impressed for sure. Performed really well. Will order more - one for clean clothes and one for dirty clothes. Held up really well and is a quality design!

I love this stuffsack with separated areas, I usually use for gym bag, separating my work out clothes, towel/toiletries, shoes, after workout clothes...but also that I can use as insert in bag, stand-alone, or on top!
*i used this on top of small pack to walk the Camino (500 mile walk in Spain) and loved it so much I got one for each of my college age sons

I am well known for being a pack rat on trips, which happen often since my grandpa lives fairly close. I got this thinking it would be a great help-especially on longer trips when i need more clothes than i can fit in my suitcase. I was a bit worried that the size of my clothes (3-4X) would have limited it but i literally fit ten whole outfits excluding bras in this thing for a two week trip. And about a months worth or underwear. And still had room. I also love the pockets inside the pouch (i hadnt seen anywhere, but when i opened it it is its own pouch which you turn unside out to get it out and can then still use as a pocket in it, and it has a pocket in one if tfe sections.) I love this thing!

Uses it to squeeze down the space of clothes for camping. More practical than vacuum bags. Can have each day's change of clothes in the individual compartments.

7 day trip to Japan with just this bag

I bought this bag for a 7!day vacation to Japan. I was able to successfully back all I needed for the entire trip in this one bag. I stuffed it to the brim!

It was awesome and lightweight. I also bought the strap. My only issue is one of the tabs began to come loose. It was unfortunate, but not worth a poor rating. I plan t contact the Company and give them feedback.

As for the function of the bag, it was perfect! Awesome! Great! Can't wait to use it again! I'll never use a suitcase.

Best gym bag I've ever owned

I am very happy with the Hoboroll. I'm currently using it as a gym bag. I like that it has several compartments so my clothes, shoes, accessories, shower supplies and water bottle have their own space in the bag - making it easy to find what I'm looking for. It compresses nicely and seems very durable. My clothes are never wrinkled when I use the hoboroll. Overall, a great gym bag!

Hmmm, some doubts.

I just received my Hoboroll V2.0 and am slightly disappointed, but to be fair partially my fault.

I thought that the roll was like a stuff sack with 5 dividers in a star pattern sewn into the sides & bottom. The problem is that there is no "bottom", it is open on BOTH ends. Now after receiving the roll & reading the description closely I do see that it says "draw string closures on both ends", thus partially my fault. The photos for the product do not depict this clearly and as a designer myself think that this is an important fact to make perfectly clear. I can see having both ends open on a larger bag, but a bag this small only needs one side to open. I have included a photo showing that it is a "pass-through" design and this is a photo that should be included in the items description. Otherwise it appears well made and of very light material (a plus in my ultralight travel manor). Just be sure that the other open end is ok with you...
