Perfect for slanted school desks!!

I am a homeschooling mom of 2 small girls, and we have 2 of the old-fashioned slant-topped wrap-around desks. These desks are designed for note taking, not crafts and coloring by children. Cup Clips to the rescue! I keep old yogurt cups or disposable cups of crayons, colored pencils and markers on a shelf, and my girls come and take the cup they want to their desk - the writing utensils stay neat, off the floor and easily accessible! Then when it's snack time, we put back the art cups and trade them for more yogurt cups holding their goldfish, almonds and water. My girls are thrilled with them, and so am I! It also makes it easy to regulate which art supplies are used, which I still need to do with my younger kids.

Yes, they are made of plastic and it's thin around the back, but I think they will hold up well to regular use - so long as they are not abused. I think I would trust them to hold a canned drink, but art supplies are much lighter!!

Not just a drink holder

My wife uses these for holding all kinds of things on her sewing table. She has put short and tall cups in them and stores anything from scissors to fabric pins in them. They hold on to the table well and the 4 packs I bought is perfect for all the variations she needs.

Useful for other things than cups but disappointing for intended use.

Bought a four pack. Not able to fit a standard sized coffee cup (paper or ceramic) It also was not able to attach to a lot of things. If you put a large amount of liquid in the cup it would lessen the resistance and become loose around the clamp.If it is not level the cup /bottle would tilt and if full would spill.

I did find a use for them outside of it's design. It has become a great herb garden holder for my balcony where I cannot hang things from the walls. If they increased the circumference and improved the clamp strength/flexibility this would be a better product.

I love the idea of the cup holders and for holding smaller drinks they are great. However, i know plenty of people who drink larger size coffees and other drinks. I would just make the hole a bit larger, tThen it would be fantastic.

I bought these as a gift, and when they arrived, I opened the box to take a look. Though it's a great idea for my family who enjoy poolside parties, I'm not sure if these clips are going to be strong enough to hold a bottle of anything. Seems like the plastic might snap and break pretty quickly. We'll see if they hold up for summer use.
