I purchased one of these 4 or 5 years ago. I LOVE it! I'm buying another one because the old one needs new batteries and it was damaged once when I let the grill turn into a blazing inferno (from lack of cleaning out the grease). It still works but the lens is warped and I decided it was time to replace it.

I don't understand the other reviews saying that it filled with water after rain. Mine has sat out for all this time with no cover in Georgia. It has been exposed to some very heavy rain. Not an issue for me!

I highly recommend this product.

Not LED, Flourscent

Had same model for 3+ years with 12 very bright LED lights. The unit looks exactly the same but has 2 long flourscent lights; significantly less bright. Concerned that the florescent lamps will drain battery faster and not last as long, not stand up to deep freeze, and may be less durable. Disappointed in this design change. Functionally is still excellent and all other features quite good & unchanged, i.e. mounting bracket, adjust-ability, timer switches etc., but less bright not so good. Not water-proof, but very water resistant...left in hard rain many times.

I BBQ about 4-5 days out of the week all year around and do not have the greatest light in my backyard so this has changed the way I've been Q'in all year! The LED lights are bright enough to check the color of the meat which saves time on running a piece of chicken into the house to check on it. The timer feature is nice but i rarely use it. for my 4 burner kenmore pro i only need the one light. If you have a monster with 7-8 burners you might look into buying a second but definitely start with one and see if you really need the extra.

Great light which covers grill area nicely

Really like it but it takes a lot of d batteries. Light covers the grill area nicely better than the Weber light I had on previously. Only day one of having it installed but took the chance a bought one for my son in law as well.

Attaches perfectly, works well and efficiently. Can see the whole grill with no problem. I am so glad I was able to find this - I was getting tired of holding the flashlight for my husband while he grilled!!

For years we have barbequed with a flash light because it was to much trouble to add electricity to the grill area. Someone told about this product and now I couldn't live without it. I think you should advertise the product so others can use it as well.

I bought this grill light because it said that it was weatherproof. In fact, it even says right on the box "We built our pivoting grill light to work through all 4 seasons. Rain, wind, snow? Bring them on and bring the steaks too". The very first rain, it completely filled with water. It shouldn't even say weather resistent. I felt like the mounting clamp worked really well and it puts out a great amount of light. Not sure why it needs 4 D batteries to power LED lights. I will be returning this item.
