Well it came. it looked exactly like you would expect a decal to work. Except, it was covered in masking tape. The. Whole. Thing. Trying to get the tape off without damaging the decal was akin to wrestling a midget covered in molasses. You aren't winning. Still, I persisted. Quite sure that somehow, someway, I would unlock my decal and put it on my car to infuriate other drivers.

Alas, this was not to be.

parts of the decal ripped off with the tape, the rest of it, well it wasn't able to stick to a vehicle after giving the stupid masking tape all its sticky goodness.

Quite disappointing.

Great gift for my Lord of the Ring loving daughter's new car. The ONLY downside I've found to it is that the directions said it had to be above 50 degrees to apply it. This was a tad disappointing being that it's winter.

I've used a lot of vinyl stickers before, but this might have been the hardest I've ever applied. It has a lot of small letters, and getting them to stick to the metal surface and peel off the paper was very difficult (I could not get it to adhere to the glass and then wood surfaces I tried before the metal location).

It certainly looks cool and rugged, but I found only the packing slip invoice/manifest, no instructions. I might have tossed it with the packaging by accident, but how about this: Why can't the description here on Amazon give some quick install notes?

I would like to install it on my car window (back or side) on the inside, but it appears that it's an outside application, which makes sense for a door or laptop cover, but it probably won't last very long on the outside of my car, which is what I got it for. Oh well, onto the laptop it goes.

Perhaps your bullet items could contain something like "Installs on the outside/front of something, not on the back such as glass".

No anger here--I just have to use it differently and it certainly didn't cost me much.

Easy to scratch, but still looks good

Instructions were pretty simple & easy to follow. I got the silver one for my dark gray Toyota. It looks awesome on the back of my car! I love it. The company was also quick to respond asking what color I wanted.

The only problem is that the decal was easy to scratch with a credit card, which they recommended you use to flatten it. So it has a scratch in the middle, but I doubt anyone will look at it that closely. Definitely be gentle while placing the decal. Other than that, cool decal.

I bought this for my Macbook and it is perfect! I love everything about LOTR. I have watched the movies and enjoyed the books. This was the perfect decal for my computer. I have received many compliments on this product. My students also find this enjoyable during finals week.

Ordered from SuperSugar. Took a long time to get here and had some problems getting it to me (which wasn't the seller's fault, and they quickly and courteously resolved it). They even through in a second "bonus" sticker. Thanks guys!

The sticker its self is pretty decent. Each word is a sticker and Gandalf is a sticker. The color is solid and the sticker adheres well and seems to be holding well. If anything goes awry I'll be sure to update this review. So far great stickers for the price!

I accidentally got the dark decal so it's hard to see on my van, but whatever - it's still beyond AMAZEBALLS. Love it. I kinda wanna get it in white. I'd totally have two on my van. One does not simply give a crap how many geeky decals are on one's mom-mobile. This decal also compliments my other geeky decals and signals my general awesomeness to other awesome people.
