It's a protective lens wrap that looks like just like a burrito! Here's how it works: wrap your lens up burrito-style in the padded sleeve, and a built-in band will hug your lens to keep it in place. The wrap does the cushioning for you, so you can toss your lens into *any* bag. The wrap itself is made of super-tough Tyvek (the stuff hazmat suits are made of!) and cushioned with neoprene.

Fabulous way to Protect My Lenses

I purchased two of these to keep my lenses safe. I am working on a 365 Project and I don't want to carry around a large camera bag with a bunch of stuff. I have a smallish bag that I keep my camera and one lens in, but I didn't want to leave my other lens at home because "what if I should suddenly need it"? To resolve this perplexing issue I bought the Photorito. I try not to keep my camera, lenses, laptop or other equipment in things that scream "EXPENSIVE GEAR!!!" I like the novelty of this wrap. It really does look like a tortilla at first glance.

The wrap itself is not incredibly thick, but by the time you fold it into the burrito shape it cushions the lens very well. I feel comfortable putting my lens/burrito in my purse or other bag without wondering if my keys or other items will scratch or damage my lens.

Do you remember the "slap bands" (snap bands) bracelets? You can straighten them out and then slap it against your wrist and it becomes a bracelet. The center of the Photorito is essentially a slap (snap) band surrounded by fabric. The Photorito is 15-inches in diameter. It is made Tyvek - the material from which hazmat suits are made and is cushioned with neoprene.
