Great kitchen herb scissors. Easy to use and a breeze for cutting chives, parsley, cilantro and green onion. No more worrying about cutting fingers or cleaning cutting boards. I bought these for myself years ago, and decided to order two more this year for stocking stuffers. They arrived, and I checked each, just to make sure they were what I paid for. Both of the new ones were identical to each other and completely inferior to what I bought in the past. In the picture, my old ones are on the left, and have a green/gray handle. The new one is on the right. The quality of what was sent is horrible -- blades not quite smooth, cover doesn't quite fit. The company was VERY responsive, and explained that the error was because they have been overwhelmed with orders and simply made a mistake. Not so sure. And had I not already ordered the "same," I likely wouldn't have known about the lesser-quality scissors sent. They handled the return and refund flawlessly, so they do get credit for that; but I would not order again....

These scissors do a great job of cutting herbs without crushing them. They are very sharp and not hard to clean. I just run under the water. They can quickly and easily cut through a bunch of herbs much better than others I've tried.

I LOVE these herb scissors so much that I'm buying them for friends and family! I use them weekly. I was laboriously mincing fresh herbs with a knife until I discovered these scissors. They make the process very quick and easy.

They are sharp and work ok. I tend to spend a lot of time getting the herbs out from between the blades so I can use them. Easy to wash if you don't need the herbs between them!

The scissors work very well. Definitely cut the time in 1/2 when making soup....... The tip is right on - wet herbs do not cut well. The drier the better the scissors work. I am satisfied with them and I would definitely recommend them. My married daughter has borrowed them and said she will add them to her Christmas wish list! Sorry I waited so long to order them.

These shears really do work! I use them for chopping parsley and other herbs from our planters and they make quick work of chopping them for stews, sauces, etc. They clean quite easily, so using them isn't frustrating like so many gadgets turn out to be.

Worth the money

These are good, but not great. When cutting chives, they tend to get pieces stuck in between the blades. The blades cut herbs very well; but on some things like green onion and chives they tend to bruise them. Still, I am glad I bought these. These do a good job of cutting basil and oregano leaves, especially the basil. The basil comes out great in small strips - very pretty as a garnish or in dishes.

I like the IDEA of these scissors probably more than the actual reallity of using them. They DID immediately increase my usage of freshly cut parsley and basil directly from my garden and deck-pots. That's a plus. They are a bit of a mess to clean up - and the little gadget that is supposed to clean out the stuck-stuff is a bit of a joke in contrast to running water.

However, I'd give a 5***** to their Customer Service. My little cleaning gadget came cracked and I contacted the owner (or one in charge) and she immediately mailed me a replacement piece for that. They DO pay attention! That part is great!

I would buy these scissors again. For the service they provide, they are well worth having if you grow or buy a lot of fresh herbs.

So disappointing. Maybe I had too high an expectation. I actually purchased 3 of these at the same time in order to gift two but ended up returning all three after trying the first ones. The herbs got stuck between the blades and it was a hassle and time consuming to try and get them out. I was cutting cilantro which I use all the time. I decided that it would be faster to continue to cut the herbs by hand than struggle with this. Great idea, but I think it's best to go back to the drawing board and find a way to re-engineer these. I did not try any other herbs. I was mostly interested in cutting Cilantro.
