The Chinese wisteria is a shade-tolerant vine, but it blooms best when grown in the sun. It prefers a deep, rich loam, has a moderate growth rate and is very easy to grow. The vine is easily pruned to keep it contained. The violet blue flowers, borne in drooping 8-12" racemes, are produced in late spring or early summer. It will cover a large trellis or arbor very quickly and is beautiful as a focal point to an entrance or porch. Hardy in zone 4-9

This was a complete waste of my money & time. I gave my mother one of these and I kept one because I love wisteria. Both my mother and I did everything exactly like the directions instructed and NEITHER pot had ANYTHING to grow. A complete waste of time and energy. Do not buy this.

I am disappointed with the other nine seeds not growing

I followed directions to a "T" yet only one seed out of ten grew to a plant. I am an avid gardener and have many houseplants as well, so I know how to grow plants from seeds. I am disappointed with the other nine seeds not growing, so I paid $14.00 for one seed, dirt and stone and two tiny pots. I don't expect a refund but it would be nice to have the seeds that didn't grow replaced by 9greenbox.

Don't waste your time or money

Got this for my sister for her birthday. She faithfully followed all of the instructions in the packet.

Nothing happened except that mold grew on the soil.

Other than that, the product itself is ridiculously teeny tiny. Smaller than the palm of your hand. If ever something actually grew, you'd need to re-pot it almost immediately.

Super disappointing.

I too expected to flower these beautiful plants but instead I received ONLY 2 Seeds and neither one of them grew. I would hope that this company either makes good on a refund or sends new plants!! Very dissatisfied!

I ordered this on December 22nd.my only shipping options were 1 or 2 day shipping. I chose 2 day, but knew it might take an extra day or two because of Christmas. I wanted it for my Mom's birthday on the 27th. We'll, it didn't even ship until the 27th. On the 1st I got a notification from Amazon something was wrong with the shipping or what had happened or what was going on. It finally arrived today, the 3rd. So, I paid shipping for what?

But I'll continue... Maybe I was expecting too much when I ordered this. My mother absolutely loves Wisteria so I thought this might be something fun for her... When I pulled it out of the box and saw that everything was so childlike small... I can say u was quite deflated. Now, I'm well aware that bonsai are small, I had a red maple for years, but I guess after all my frustrations to get a tiny box that fits in the palm of my hand with a pot you couldn't even fit a roll of quarters in... Well, we'll just say that I'm quite sure I won't be doing this again.

I was looking forward to starting the two bonsai and gifting one as a birthday present. However, one pot arrived broken. And none of the seeds sprouted under the instructions given.

After carefully following the instructions for weeks, all I have is mold growth and the seeds look the same. I would not recommend this product.

Took care of the seeds for over 4 weeks and they didn't sprout. Not worth the money.
