Very unfair reviews here, let this be the fist/last review you read about this product.

I read all reviews and here is my response:
1. This thing is not an app, it does not work with your phone. It simply reads the info from your vehicle computer and translates it into graphics.
2. The speed sometimes is not accurate because it takes time (1-2 seconds) to transmit the info from the computer to the unit. Also, it says on the manual that you have to adjust the errors from the menu, so if it displays +3 mph on the unit, then you have to -3 so it displays the exact number.
3. For the people that buy this and doesnt work, before you buy, pop open your hood, and if you dont see something that says obdII, it will NOT work. Don't go by the vehicle list the seller provides it is inaccurate.
4. The reflexion SUCKS in direct sunlight, it is invisible, direct sunlight meaning the sun beaming on the unit, it looks good in the daytime otherwise.
5. If you are seeing double, that means your glass was tinted by the factory, you need the included reflector plastic, use a squeegy and water it looks great.
6. The unit itself is flimsy and made poorly, what a shame, i do see when people say it stops working after a while, mine stopped working within the first day, and is now malfunctioning, I am returning to amazon for a new one. I realy hope the new one works fine.

The unit looks great when it works and if you aim it correctly to the reflector, it is a great concept, and the numbers are pretty accurate. This thing is mass produced from china, the quality isn't great but use it for a few months and just be ready to buy a new one, nevertheless the price isn't bad.

I dont need the reflective film because it reflects on the windshield. with very little doubling reflection. Very clear especially at night. But i have only one problem. It appears to be too annoying because i tend to look at it a lot. It catches my attention everytime i drive. Thats why i am buying that cradle with a reflective mirror so it wont reflect on the windshield and make it look like one of the gauges. I think it is safer having a gauge insted of the reflection obstructing the windshield. I also dont think this is very legal to have reflecting on the windshield. It is really bright at night and is very visible from the outside of the car even at the lowest brightness setting. And i am wondering why the RPM on my unit is just always steady. It does not work. Tried it on two cars already and it does not work but steadily lit up. Dont knkw if it is a defect on the unit. Thinking of returning.

had to do much modifying for it to work. Had to get aftermarket tint for the window, because the provided reflector did not stay up. Had to put dark tint on the instrument face to see it on the windshield at all.

Great, people get in my car now and are amazed by it and some disagree and say "well I don't see the purpose when you can look down at the speed" .. I find it very useful seeing that you don't have to look down to take your eyes from clear view and it gives you digital readings which also spices up the interior look :) and gives you more reading than just the dash gauges itself.

Extremely difficult to adjust and it HAS to be adjusted. Wouldn't recommend at all.

It seems to be impossible to adjust unless the car is moving and clearly, one can't drive and adjust at the same time. The manual is written in a typeface so small you need a magnifier to read it. So, you have to have a passenger who has a magnifying glass and the ability to get close enough to the driver to adjust things and you have to press buttons about 10 times to get to what you want to adjust. It starts out needing the adjustment of the speed of the car. At 25mph the heads up says it's doing 12 mph.

Seems accurate once you calibrate it. Switching from metric to imperial was easy. It has one little thing that's annoying, once I exceed 80 MPH the tachometer goes away but comes back once you drop to 79. Not a big deal but I bought the device for the main purpose of seeing the RPMs on the windshield so I don't have to keep looking at the dash when I drop a gear to pass on an incline. Maybe it could be fixed if I were to ever read the manual. hahahahaha

Not enough customization. Many fields are unavailable to display. It can read the data, yes, but you can't, for instance, display turbo boost or outside temperature on any of the screens. I ended up using it only for MPH display, which was nice. But it then started not turning on. Returned.

This is a very nice Hud , I can now keep an eye on the road at all time, at this time I do not use the window screen but I can still see very well ,I wish I had this sooner..also very easy to set up..

I have installed the HUD in my car, works great, has everything needed to get it up and going, unlike of items that require an additional cable or connectors. This one has it all. To stop from seeing the image of the HUD unit sitting on my dash I took a black slick type of paper, taped it to the bottom of the unit facing me, bent the side up to hide it from my view, the paper was cut about 5" long and 2-1/2" wide, now when driving down the road I only see the reflection on the front where it is suppose to be, easy enough to fix, but it could be added to the box without more than a few pennies cost.

Love it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to display the speed, engine rpm, fuel or water temp.
